There is a flight master of each faction in eastern Ashenvale (& another pair in the western side). Suralais Farwind @ 84,43 in Forest Song is for the alliance, while Vhulgra @ 73,60 in Splintertree Post is for the horde.

I pointed out the Horde FP only to show that I agree with you... alli FP is obnoxiously inconvenient.

Agreed, she should either be in a better spot (Such as Darnassus or some other city) , or a flight path should be placed there.

Shoots for about 450 on Leather, Melees for about 1500. While Enraged, about 600 and 1800.

While adding a flight path would be helpful, its retarded to to put them in a main city. shes here for a reason, and the reason is that fight is is over warsong gulch, IN ASHENVALE, not darnassus. In case anyone is wondering, that instance/tunnel behind her is supposed to be the entrance to WSG. It's just like the AB vendor is actually in arathi and the AV vendor is in Alterac.

Just felt like clearing it up why shes so out of the way, you don't choose where war is :P

I find it kind of lame how she is deep in contested territory (in PvP realms) close to the Barrens, while the Horde Counterpart is easily accessible to all Horde players in their own territory. I know Ally has advantages, it's just a pain to 'mount up' on my 19 twink and hoof it ALL the way down there from Astranaar, ducking 30s and 40s, while they have nothing besides environment to worry about -_-

...Where'd you come up with 30s and 40s at? Just curious, because the highest level mob in the zone is only 32.

It seems that when you have reached the lvl required for the quest you cant get the lower ones. I havent done it before I got to lvl 80 and can only get one of the 3 quests

That really is a stupidly long walk - it just took me the best part of an hour to get there from Stormwind (via Rut'Theran). It was good to see what they've done to Darkshore and Ashenvale in 4.0, though.

As with other PvP items, she won't sell you anything you don't have the appropriate level for - no Rune of Duty at level 19, for instance. For that reason alone, I recommend picking up all the flight points along the way: you will likely be coming back.

Took me 2 minutes to get there. Asked my friend to take the hyjal port and fly over there. Use have group will travel and bam.

Her coords are 61.48, 83.84, in the SE quadrant of Ashenvale. At the fork in the road at 67,71, turn in the direction to The Barrens. Then, take the first road you see and make a right into Silverwing Outpost. I use TomTom, so I set the macro "/way 61.48 83.84 Ashenvale" to direct me to where she is.

After experimenting on several toons I own across Darrowmere-US and Sen'jin-US, the armor she sells is of much higher quality than most of the drops from dungeons or from the rewards from RDF (random dungeon finder). It is definitely worth the trip and not unacceptable to wear PvP armor in PvE dungeons at low levels.

If you die a couple times along the way at low level, so what...it's temporary. You die a lot more in BG's. Closest Alliance FP is Forest Song.

Start PvPing your toons early (between lvls 10-15), as you will need approximately 250 honor points for your first complete 'set'. If you have an 85 main that can acquire any BoA's beneficial to your class, even better bonuses! Add enchants to these babies, and become one of twinks others complain about not being able to beat in BG's.

I know that this did not used to be true. She would sell you anything that you had enough honor to purchase. My level 15 priest (who hasn't played at all in a very long time) currently has the level 18 ring and cape in her bag, just waiting for that level. I came back today to purchase a few more things, since I have some spare honor and figured it would give me something to do while I wait for queues, and she wouldn't sell me anything at all...even tried the things I already have, just to be sure they aren't a weird exception.

Not sure exactly when this changed, but that was a looong pointless walk >.< So, learn from my mistake and don't try to plan ahead :) Wish there was an inn here, so I could just chill until lvl 20 when I can get my trinket.

For those who can't buy certain items and might think there is a bug:
When you buy from Illiyana Moonblaze, at the top of the window you can choose what items to show. By default it's set for your class and specialization, so for example my level 20 warlock can't see 博学者之戒 nor 保护者指环. Also my level 20 paladin can't see 哨兵徽章. Therefore you have to choose "All" and you will see all the 8 pages with all the items she sells.

MoP update - you can easily pull this NPC when farming for the boot enchant without aggroing the 90 elite (Su'ra Swiftarrow). Use a taunt or ranged attack from the woods adjacent to her tent and she's all yours.

Hell of a trip for a few items you will quickly out-level unless you are on a free to play account stuck at level 20. Really need to move the quartermasters for the bg's to the cities, but I guess for flavor, they are fine where they are at, as this only affects low level characters anyway, and none of the gear has been updated since vanilla (AV gear still only level 60).

I think its pretty crap that we cant purchase Items before we reach the level to use it. Id rather run all the way out and be able to by the item I want a few levels before hand to save myself a long trip later.

One of the three supply officers that can sell some useful low-level PvP gear. The rings and neck pieces she sells are great pieces to have for heirloom users especially if they don't have 2 heirloom rings or the neck piece. At level 40, 50, and 60 she sells the epic bracers that make another great upgrade slot.

Thanthaldis Snowgleam and Samuel Hawke are the other two supply officers that sell useful low-level PvP gear for the Alliance.
