Remember To Sim Upgrades and Kill World Boss Before Looting Great Vault

With the weekly reset, it's time to see what's inside your Great Vault! However, to optimize things, you should quickly kill the World Boss first and sim which upgrade is best from the Vault before choosing an item.
Avoid World Boss Loot Overlap
It feels bad to choose an item from the Great Vault only to receive a better item for that slot from the World Boss minutes later. So to reduce the risk of looting items of the same slot from the world boss and Great Vault, kill
Valinor
first (and pick up
so the World Boss contributes Anima). The loot from the World Boss may change your Great Vault decision!
Sim Great Vault Upgrades
And if you already have the
SimulationCraft addon
installed, all you need to do as you log in after the weekly reset is:
Open your Great Vault
Run /simc
Copy/paste to Top Gear
Select the Great Vault items
See which sims the best
By doing that, Top Gear will also include pieces from your Great Vault, which will be denoted with a
GV
flag at the item:
