Placeholder Anima Powers in Torghast Cripples Twisting Corridor Runs

The new Twisting Corridors wing of Torghast is good for a lot of things - not only are there some nice rewards, it's an expanded version of the activity which allows you to amass a huge number of anima powers and feel like a god. However, it also highlights a problem that a few classes are facing, wherein many of their anima power choices simply aren't there. Finding placeholder anima powers was a common bug during Shadowlands development, before all the different options were added to the game, but those affected still find themselves missing powers over the course of a run, a problem which is exacerbated by the length of the Twisting Corridors and the difficulty of the eventual boss encounters.
Several threads have commented on these missing powers, both on the
official Blizzard forums
and
reddit
, although it does not appear to affect every class. Hunters, Monks, and Demon Hunters appear to be the worst offenders, with players regularly finding upwards a dozen placeholder powers. Meanwhile, the problem is virtually unheard of on classes such as Warriors, and my own 84 power run resulted in zero missing placeholders. While normally, missing out on a single power or two might not be much of a problem, the Twisting Corridor has been the subject of several complaints because of the difficulty of the end bosses - players spend 17 floors easily clearing through the instance, only to find the boss too difficult without those missing powers.
Bugs aside, several players have commented on the difficulty of the Twisting Corridors, but we've also been seeing a rise in the number of complaints after players use
