Certain players have spotted

in the Eastern Plaguelands. Nathanos is supposed to be the World Boss for the
Death's Rising Shadowlands Pre-Patch event
.
Considering Nathanos currently has no World Quest to kill him, awards no loot on defeat, and triggers no cinematic when defeated,
this is likely an oversight on Blizzard's part and probably means he is not supposed to be available.
Currently, the only reward available is the satisfaction of killing him.
EDIT (2:00pm PDT):
Nathanos has been patched out and is no longer at the Marris Stead.
