Patch 8.1 added a new reward from your weekly Island Expeditions:

, these maps are rewards from your weekly Island Expedition quests. Upon receiving it, the map becomes one specific map, like

, and gives you a new available mission in your mission table.
During testing, all rewards seen were just extra Artifact Power,

, and gold. However, now that Patch 8.1 is live, there seem to be new rewards added to these missions.
Players have started reporting more rewards, like rare transmog items, pets, and even mounts, previously only known to be dropped from Islands.

That screenshot, tied to other reports from pets and transmog items previously only found from Islands, heavily indicate that these missions can get you any rare item from islands, including mounts and pets, with likely higher odds due to its exclusivity.
