Korthia Intro Skip Results in Fewer Quest Rewards and Stygian Embers
Altaholics have noticed that
skipping the Korthia introductory quest chain
actually impacts the rewards they receive - making them ineligible for
which come with it.

, and 10
, and while that isn't anything that can't be missed, the extra reputation items and catch up gear contained within the chest can be a nice jumpstart for new characters. Of course, there's an argument that you shouldn't get something for nothing, so it makes sense that there should be a compelling reason to actually go through the quest chain more than once, but ultimately this is a tradeoff which should be evaluated for each character. On the other hand, players who are switching mains or intending to raid on these alts may want to take the extra time to play through the Korthia introduction again.
