Keystones Will Be Downgrading by Extra Levels on Season 4 Launch

A very common question that we've heard in the WoW Community recently is "What Level Keystone Should I Do?" in order to get a +15 Keystone on Season 4 launch. Blizzard has now updated their recent blue posts, noting that Keystones will indeed be downgrading by extra levels on Season 4 launch.
What Does This Mean For You?
With the launch of Season 4, dungeons will be getting harder due to a
52.6% scaling factor and a retuning of defensive power
. In addition, Blizzard has updated their
What to Expect on Patch 8.3 Launch
post, noting that Keystones will downgrade by
4 levels
when Season 4 goes live.
Blizzard
On January 21, with the beginning of Season 4,
Mythic Keystones will downgrade by 4 levels.
In addition, since the maximum reward from Mythic+ is increasing to +15, this means that you can get a +15 key ready to go on Season 4 launch day, without having to worry about timing any keys. This way, you can just slowly work your way through the "Weekly, No Leaver" key at your own leisure to get your maximum reward!
What Key Level Should I Do?
This means that if you want to prepare your keys before Season 3, you should:
January 7th - 13th
- Complete a +20 Keystone at a minimum
OR
January 14th - 20th
- Complete a +19 Keystone at a minimum
If you complete a +20 on the week January 7th, you do not need to complete a high key on the week of January 14th to still receive a +15 in your chest when Season 4 launches.
The
Class Changes
and
Dungeon Tuning
will be the only difference between these two weeks, other than the affixes.
Jan 7th
- Sanguine, Grievous, Fortified, Beguiling (Enchanted)
Jan 14th
- Teeming, Volcanic, Tyrannical, Beguiling (Void)
