Halls of Valor and the Dragonflight Season 1 Mythic+ Rotation - Dratnos and Tettles Discuss

This week's GG WoW video examines Dragonflight's Mythic Plus Season 1. Recently,
datamining has revealed the 8 dungeons
we believe to make up that season's rotation, with Halls of Valor and Shadowmoon Burial Grounds joining the already revealed Court of Stars and Temple of the Jade Serpent as returning dungeons from older expansions.
Dratnos and Tettles start by discussing these dungeons - Halls of Valor being notable for having a very long dungeon timer compared to the shorter dungeons like Court of Stars and Ruby Life Pools that are in the season's pool. Halls of Valor, like Lower Karazhan, may also require several changes to avoid feeling unfair, both to one-shotty bosses and to some nasty trash in the middle of the dungeon. Is it enough if these iterative changes happen over the first month of Dragonflight or do they need to come before the expansion launch?
Court of Stars has returned before as part of Legion Timewalking M+, which is
confirmed to be going away in Dragonflight
. Is this too soon for a dungeon to be repeated or is it fine since many players didn't engage with the Timewalking M+? Will the profession objects in this dungeon enhance or interfere with Dragonflight's renewed focus on professions?
The conversation then moves to discussion of loot drops and notable Trinkets from existing dungeons, as well as the lack of Weapons from Legion dungeons. Is a loot overhaul of the older dungeons warranted, for instance adding Weapons to any Legion dungeons or modernizing Trinkets from Wod and earlier, or is it good that loot from older expansions and design philosophies gets the chance to shine again?
