Tettles and Dratnos start with a quick refresher on the exact functionality of the Dinars and the Heroic/Mythic upgrade tokens, and then discuss the upsides and downsides of the system. Players having access to their powerful best in slot raid weapons and trinkets early in the Season has been nice, but is that reasonable to expect to continue going forward into a full Season? Are alts or non-mythic raiders especially left behind by this system?
Another discussion point in the video is the 311 creep, the phenomenon whereby almost every gear slot can be filled with a 311 item this season as compared to previous seasons where the highest item level final boss pieces were more limited, further increasing the gap between raid players and Mythic Plus focused players. Is this offset by or exacerbated by the Dinar system? How has gearing felt for you and do you hope to see systems like Dinars, the Creation Catalyst, the Great Vault, and/or higher ilvl Mythic Plus rewards make their way into future seasons?
