Diablo II: Resurrected Riddle Progress
"So many gems, what do all these orange numbers mean?" The decryption of the original Diablo II: Resurrected cypher puzzle led to another mystery. What do they refer to? At first the thought was it might refer to D4 or to stacking gems. But, the story is even more interesting than that.
Multiple groups have been working on this mystery, and it now seems that the message refers to the mysterious orange codes that pop up occasionally when activating the chat gem.
Each orange number is actually part of a book cypher, where each code refers to the page, sentence, and word in a book, in this case the Diablo II: Resurrected manual. It seems to refer to lore regarding the worldstone and the Prime Evils and the Angels.
