Art Blast: Spotlight on Blizzard 3D Artist Patrick Klisiewicz

recently published an Art Blast focused on the visuals for
Eternity's End
. The piece featured several Blizzard artists focusing on their particular specialty. We thought we'd take a look at the work that each artist does for World of Warcraft and their featured artwork.
Patrick Klisiewicz was featured as a Dungeon Environment Artist.
Environment Artist
Environment Artists create the setting for the zone. In Zereth Mortis this includes the rocks, dirt, plants, roads, monuments, and all the other static pieces that make up the zone. For dungeons and raids, it is similar assets; platforms, boss rooms, decorations, and more.
Klisiewicz worked on environments for Sepulcher of the First Ones.
Genesis Cradle Boss Platform and Printer Structures
I had the opportunity to work on the Boss Platform for Dausegne - The Fallen Oracle and the Large Printer Structures situated around the Genesis Cradle area of the 9.2 Sepulcher of the First Ones Raid!
I was responsible for modelling, creating a unique texture for the boss platform, texture application and lighting.

Ephemeral Plains Structure
I had the opportunity to work on the tower structures that can be seen throughout the Ephemeral Plains area in the Eternity's End Raid - The Sepulcher of the First Ones.
I was responsible for modelling, texture application and lighting.

Klisiewicz prepped to work at Blizzard with CGMA art projects like this whimsical Teldrassil Fire Department Wagon.
So.... what if.... when Sylvanas shot those arrows into Teldrassil, couple of these bad boys got dispatched to put out the flames?!?
