I was NOT able to beat it with Dreamweaver on level 34 and 4 Ardenweald Trappers on lvl 34. This is the first mission I failed with this composition. Considering this is a 60 level mission, I'll try again after I level my guys a little bit.

Edit: tried with a bursty comp hoping it will be enough, failed miserably - only managed to kill 3 of the 8 enemies. Layout:
Meatball (36) / Chalkyth (36) / Guardian Kota (36)
Dreamweaver (36) / Te'zan (33)

Edit 2: finally beat it with Dreamweaver on 38 and Trappers on 37.

Just failed (400 hp last minion) with 38 dream/4x 36 trapper, but beat with 3 left alive using 39 dream/4x 37 trapper

Just succeeded this mission as a night fae using a lvl 38 dreamweaver and 4 lvl 37 ardenweald trappers, I previously attempted it with a lvl 37 dreamweaver and lvl 36 trappers but that wasn't enough to beat this.
Place your dreamweaver in the bottom left spot and simply fill the rest with trappers and you should finish the mission with 1 trapper left alive.

Successfully completed with Dreamweaver 38 in the bottom left using the usual cheese. (Trappers level 37)

Got all 4 mounts now and I'm interested to see if this concludes the campaign for now?

Was able to beat this with 37 dreamweaver and 37 trappers with dreamweaver in bottom left. I failed this twice before putting dreamweaver in bottom right and i barely survived it this time as my dreamweaver had only 25 health left. Also I'm not sure what the interaction is between campaign missions and soul ash missions but there is some interaction as I found out last week when i completed a campaign mission and my soul ash mission disappeared also when I completed this last mount mission this week a soul ash mission immediately popped up with only 47 hours left which made that my 3rd soul ash mission in the last 3 days. According to my addon I've done 20 campaign mission which apparently is the cap currently so i'm sure that has something to do with it.

EDIT: This strategy is no longer viable after the Trapper hotfixes in January 2021.

They barely managed to complete it, and I don't know if there are better compositions, but after a lot of follower shuffling this was the first one that Venture Plan approved for success.

So, to summarize it for the late bloomers of Ardenweald's Night Fae:

Until January 30th 2021, this part of the game was pretty much no game for us at all. I guess most of us who did attend to the campaign missions just rushed through them, sooner or later with 织梦者 in the back row and four 炽蓝仙野诱捕者 completing a very strange Dream Team... well, up to this mission here. The team still worked, but it needed a considerably higher level of both 织梦者 - level 38 - and 炽蓝仙野诱捕者 - around level 36. The troops' level is the median* of your adventurers' level, as the totally underrated comment by Zachem states.

With January 30th, the other covenant's adventurers got buffed - and the 炽蓝仙野诱捕者 received a well-earned bug fix, resulting and quite a lot Dream Teams got a severe beating.

As of now, there seems to be now way to successfully complete this mission with adventurers around level 38. The Night Fae might have to wait until their adventurers are of a higher level or the blizzard guys applying a buff to them - whatever happens first.

*In case you are not familiar with this term: When you sort your adventurers by level, the median level is the level of the middle adventurer. A lot of KPI-ish stuff (like personal income of a group of people) focus on median, since it is less prone to outliers (e.g. the values 4, 5, 6, 7, 103 have an arithmetic average of 25 (due to the one billionaire), but a median of 6).

So - If you have most of your adventurers around the mid-forties or higher, you should find a solution for the mission at hand, since on some of the key players came in early and should have a higher level compared to the other guys and gals, anyway (Dreamweaver being the notorious example). If you want to master the mission with adventurers somewhere around 40, your choices are much more limited - if Xozat's setup works, they should be granted a medal.

In any case, the addon VenturePlan will help you. A lot.

My own winning team was:

Qadarin eats most of the incoming damage, since the enemy focuses a lot on the front row's left-most position. My back row survived.

So as Night Fae since the nerf/bug fix to the Trappers - I've been playing around with this Campaign Mission doing all sorts of combinations for the past couple of weeks.

Currently I have: 42 Dreamweaver, (Healer) 40 Yira'lya (Healer), 39 Niya, 39 Chalkyth, 39 Guardian Kota, 39 Meatball, 38 Tez'an, 36 Blisswing, 34 Master Sha'lor, 33 Hunt Captain Korayn, 33 Duskleaf, 33 Croman, 28 Lloth'wellyn and 28 Qadarin (who is our only Tank spec follower gained so far).

I was fortunate enough to clear all of the other Campaign Missions before the nerf/bug fix to trappers but this last one has been outstanding since just before the nerf/bug fix as my followers were too low even with the "Dream Team" of Dreamweaver and 4 trappers - my own fault like many others I suspect for progressing the table beyond my followers levels.

Like everyone else has noted below - since the Trapper change I've gotten absolutely no where in getting this Adventure done, with my best attempt being the enemy Team around the low 40% health area. As previously commented I think the key currently unless Blizz apply a fix is to get the followers up to higher levels.

BUT - I have stumbled across a combination that brought the % down into the low 30s/high 20s:

Qadarin(28)/Meatball(39)/Te'zan(38)
Chalkyth(39)/Dreamweaver(42)

I stress - this combination HAS NOT succeeded yet for me and 20-30% is still quite a bit to go But my Qadarin is pretty low level (at 28) still compared to my other followers in this set-up - my thinking is MAYBE I get Qadarin up another 5-10 levels he might be enough to soak up the incoming damage for the others to do their thing.

If anyone has higher followers than mine that has/hasn't tried the above combo since the Trapper change - maybe let us know if this combo gets you any closer or even succeeds or just let us know if I'm barking up the wrong tree :D?

Night Fae - After the nerf!

There is no "magic" combination currently that allows you to beat this mission with low level.

The earliest you can complete this mission is at companion's level 46.

Chalkyth(46) , Kota(46) , Korayn(46)
Dreamweaver(46) , Te'zan(46)

If you don't have Chalkyth then change it to:

Korayn(46) , Kota(46) , Trapper(min 43)
Dreamweaver(46) , Te'zan(46)

Following solution just worked for me as Night Fae at slightly lower levels than the previous solution using these followers:

Set-up as follows:

Left Front: Meatball (44)
Front Middle: Chalkyth (44)
Right Front: Te'Zan (43)
Left Back: Knight Captain Korayn (40)
Right Back: Dreamweaver (45)

It was CLOSE though: I watched the sequence through and Meatball, Chalkyth and Te'zan were all dead with 5 of the opposing team down and 2 more about 50% health and 1 full health. Korayn was JUST kept alive by Dreamweaver every turn (literally down to single digit health before getting healed 330 odd health) - so I think the above solution is literally on the wire of what is currently possible with this set-up.

As a Night Fae, I won this after the Trapper nerf quite comfortably with the following setup:
Kota(47) - Chalkyth(46) - Dreamweaver(47)
Te'zan(45) - Meatball(46)

Meatball and Te'zan survived with 100% and 30% health respectively. So I suppose it could be done with lower level followers, or an optimized setup.

Have not seen this Venthyr setup anywhere so think I'd share:

Front: Stonehead (41), General Draven (37), Theotar(42)
Back: Ayeleth (42), Stonehuck (39).

Note that this is the only mount adventure that I need to seriously grind and level my adventurers for a few days before I can complete it. In all the other three mount adventures, my guys are between level 36 to 39.

Even if you are using the addon Venture Plan, I would still suggest you to read all the abilities and manually play around with your team's positioning. Because I've had a couple times that the addon team setup does not give you a win but after I repositioned/replaced some of my adventurers, it then calculated a win.

Night Fae Success - Lowest level I've seen

I just completed this on Night Fae with the following setup

Qadarin (34) | Korayn (37) | Dreamweaver (38)
Te'zan (39) | Lloth'wellyn (31)

Te'zan barely survived and Lloth'wellyn was ~70% hp remaining.

Dreamweaver (44), Lloth'wellyn (35)

Dreamweaver, Lloth'wellyn and Tezan were all still alive when the mission was over (I think Dreamweaver's HP was untouched), so this might be possible even at a slightly lower level.

I edited the original comp that used kythekios in the middle because there was more than enough fire power to kill the ads in the front and there wasn't enough to kill the guys hiding behind the tank, so they were killing my troops. This simple change got me my victory 1st try after many attempts with kythekios failing
