This mount will be released as the rare loot from the WoW TCG Expansion "War of the Elements". The official release date is April 26th 2011.

Facts:

You receive one epic item version when you redeem the code.
The level 20 mount (epic) currently cannot be traded, however it appears patch 4.2 will allow this item to be traded.
Mount automatically adjusts speed to your highest land riding skill.
Skin is based on King Mosh of Un'goro Crater.

The loot items from this set are:
Landro's Lichling (1/3)
War Party Hitching Post (2/3)
Savage Raptor (3/3)

Rider beware! This raptor is far more savage than most other raptors! Other raptors just shred you to tiny pieces with their claws and then feast on your corpse. This one lets out a loud random screech that attracts a massive undefeatable Legend of Zelda Cuckoo style swarm of his much higher level raptor friends to attack any new players in the area. Then he starts Chuck Norris spam in general chat, just to make things worse.

Note: He doesn't really do any of these things, I just still have a grudge against those freakin' Barrens raptors even after all these years. Those things are savage!

I just bought one from a really nice person in my server. I was really afraid of scammers but i decided to take the chance and buy it.
When we arrived at the goblin to redeem the code, the seller told me the full code (which i typed in the appropriate box) and i received my mount. After i traded him and payed him the full amount we agreed 85,000 gold coins.
Happy ending for me but please be carefull people because someone can steal your gold.

As for the Mount its awesome. I have replaced my Crimson deathcharger mount with this raptor and except from the awesome appearance i am the only person in my server having this at the momment.
Feels nice to be unique :)

Ah, permit me to sound slightly demeaning, and feel free to downrate but....Its just a raptor. Its a reskinned raptor, with no special effects and to be quite honest, I feel its slightly lazy and almost rushed compared to the other marvels of the TCG Redemption system, barring the Mottled Drake. Just to, reinforce my point that this is not all that special compared to the others, here is a list.

The Spectral Tiger, a reskinned Saber mount with an amazing ghost effect and lightning visuals.

The X-51 Nether Rocket, it was a rocket in the time when flying mounts were hard to come by, this further stapled your status.

El Pollo Grande, it was a chicken. They let you ride a giant chicken, (Rooster to be technical)

The Wooly White Rhino, was a giant rhino. There is no other means to that, it was a one of a kind rhino.

Big Battle Bear, a reskinned bear mount without goggles. Without goggles people, no longer did your bear look like it was ready to take off.

Mottled Drake...A very sickly looking bronze drake.

Blazing Hippogryph, a hippogryph that was one fire, which sadly I feel may soon be made redundant by the Firelands quest reward Flameward Hippogryph.

Compared to these, this really isnt all that special, for what it is, and for what people will pay for it, no doubt for the "A raptor on Alliance side" arguement. Peace!

This is a nice mount. More realistic IMO.

Sure it is a re-skinned raptor, I agree.

Simple solution, redeem it on your ally toon.

You are going to get noticed on this thing. Be prepared to answer alot of questions in SW.

Worse case scenario is that it would sell for alot. I would think 175k to 200k neighborhood, at this time, depending on server.

Recieved it today as Alliance Mage for 200k Gold. I've seen the double amount on the AH but thats overprice I think.

As the comment Above, the skin is based on the rare mob Mosh in Un'Goro.

As Alliance this raptor is specific to be honest, compared to the 2 ZG raptors this one has no armor and skin is based of an NPC. Yes ofc a raptor as Alliance is rare indeed, you can get 2 of them atm which is this one, Savage Raptor and the new raptor from Bloodlord Mandokir in ZG.

So as Alliance, there are 2 raptors avaible. One to farm, one to buy.

Does anyone know if a mount like this will be appearing in the Black Market Auction House?
This would be neat to be obtainable in in-game means if a person happens to not be lucky with the cards.

As a quick warning to anyone thinking of buying this...

The Red Primal Raptor that has been datamined for 5.2 shares this same model and skin, with just a different coloured saddle.

This MAY just be a placeholder graphic for the model or texture but, until this is confirmed, it may be best to hold off purchasing this for a large amount of gold/money when its entire look could potentially become MUCH less unique very soon.

EDIT : Confirmed. The new red primal Raptor is the EXACT same model and raptor skin but has a lighter colour texture on the saddle only.
