Wowhead claims the chocolates stack to 100, but at least currently on live they only stack to 20.
A pain if you aren't spending them as you get them just in case you loot something you already bought.
The icon looks just like a Cadbury Creme Egg.
The buff is 25% of your levels Stamina/Spirit - so 20 at lvl 80.
I would actually avoid trading these for the other items. If you spend a little time each day gathering eggs, you're bound to get at least one, if not all, of the other Noblegarden things.
First, use all of your eggs to complete the quest and getting the 100 Chocolates achievement. After that,
. If Noble Garden is nearing its end and you're still missing something, then feel free to spend the candy. Buying them early on is a good way to waste chocolates (imagine my annoyance when I bought the Spring Robes, only to find them in an Egg less than an hour later).
Instead of just eating them all in one go, i saved these for leveling, since i never remember to buy food.
It's free food, you get well fed and an achievement - even if you don't eat enough for the achievement you can always eat aload on the last day. :)
Trust me, it's more handy than it may sound, lol :)
Something I found out today which should help some of you is that you can eat while running. It won't count as eating it buff or health-wise, but it does count towards the achievement. So you can eat the chocolates while running around looking for more eggs. You can set them to an actionbar button, or a hotkey and eat while you run, reducing the time away from egg running.
Don't forget... If your a mage you may want to grab another 100
Tome of Polymorph: Rabbit
The database hasn't caught on to the "Currency for..." part yet, however.
OK...who downrated this completely accurate comment? Unless you can find a "Currency for..." tab, above, Which I still don't see, do NOT downrate accurate comments!
Is anyone else noticing 4 days after their chocolates should have disappeared, they are still in their inventory with a duration for how long they'll last of 0?
eta: Why is this rated down? It's a genuine question, I haven't found anyone in world who shares this odd occurance.
This all time after the Noble Garden is gone, the chocolates, which should have a 7 day duration, are still in my bag and are still usable (even provide the buff and all).
I found this interesting, and posted a screenie to confirm it. ^^
Yeah ive had mine since last day even few hours of event now and everytime I leave a BG it resets so I constantly have 10 left but the food buff is nifty and free.
Hope this falls under "Blizz errors" rather then "exploiting a bug".
I keep having 8 of these chocs, a Basket of Everlasting Eggs i suppose.
Is this happening to anyone else? I have 9 after Noblegarden. One day I eat two. The next, I have 9 again!
: the bug is still there
2009.05.20: The whole stack suddenly disappeared, maybe only a temporary bug
As of the 4/4/10 (patch 3.3.3 Oceanic Caelestrasz) these chocolates do indeed disappear from your bags when you hearth or port to another location. Its important to collect them all in one hit seeing that you will need well over 300 for the meta achievement.
Whether this is a bug or not I dont know, but it seems kind of sinister considering you will be hunting with up to dozens of other players per hour.
I personally lost over 100 chocolates, and a guildie lost X amount and a
when we ported to Dal headed to SMC.
Definitely DO NOT port or hearth with these eggs in your bag.
Edit: for clarity
Edit: I contacted a GM and was told that this is not how they intended the chocolates to react to porting and was mailed my restored chocolates.
I'll leave this up as a warning though because I was informed that there are a large number of complaints in regards to this very problem, though it doesn't exist for everyone.
my question is, where in all hell do get chocolates? i know theres 1 egg in goldshire and stuff, but where else can you get eggs? I tried killing a couple chickens, and that did zilch!
For those completionists out there:
If you dont have
yet, you can simply buy Noblegarden eggs for 5 chocolates each.
The eggs you drop can be looted by yourself.
Only problem is that there's a 1h cooldown on them ...
Good luck though!
With Noblegarden coming up, it's worth reminding folks - you need a
of 100 of these to get the meta achievement
(which grants a title and is one of the needed steps for the 310% violet proto-drake achiev). This is if you have excellent luck and manage to loot every single required item in your egg hunting. If you have terrible luck and loot none of them you can expect to need the
amount, which is 365. Reasonably, expect to spend between 150 and 250 for average luck.
What happens with these after the event has ended?
this years Noblegarden brings in a new mount farmable by collecting 500 X
and use as currency to purchase
. have a happy farm for this one :)
If you're finding it hard to see these eggs amongst all the clutter, here's a tip. Zoom out your camera as far as possible, you can use this script to max it out even more:
You'll be able to see the eggs without things like barrels and crates being in the way as they don't show up if your camera is too far away from them.
Grinding one spot is a lot slower than running around and grabbing them all over, so I hope this helps.
Though, if there's a lot of trees about, this might not be so useful.
Some quick notes on how to farm these as quickly as possible.
First off, go to the town that is least likely to be populated. I went to Azure Watch (near Exodar) as very few people visit this location.
1) Make a macro. This macro should read /use borrowed egg basket /use Brightly Colored Egg (note that if you gave back your borrowed egg basket you'll need to /use egg basket). This eliminates the time required to stand around opening eggs. Put this macro somewhere on your bar that you can mash it easily in between looting eggs.
2) Zoom your camera out. Not necessarily to space-level, but make sure you're out pretty far. You'll want to rotate your camera angle to various degrees so you can see the eggs that are stuck between buildings, hidden in boxes, and behind flight paths.
3) Watch other players. See where they stop to pick up an egg and add it to your "places to check" map in your head.
4) Have a general path. I would usually go around Azure watch counter-clockwise checking for all the usual places. As I'd run through buildings I would use my high-camera angle to check the area in the center where the benches are. (This can be a gold mine!)
5) If someone is running just ahead of you and in the same direction, go check one of the internal areas real quick. There's no point running along the same path as someone else.
6) Just because someone is standing next to an egg doesn't mean they're going to loot it. I've seen many people who are afk or are hearthing and others just run straight past. Get in there and get your chocolate!
7) If you have friends farming in the same area, put a mark on their head. This will help you to avoid their same path or the chocolates they're going for. (You can do this for up to 8 people with the various marks.)
8) Don't waste time talking to people. The chatter boxes are the ones that leave eggs laying about and I really appreciate them doing so.
9) Do a lot of strafing etc. and use your mouse to change your camera angle. This will help you maximize your time between the eggs.
10) Use your mouse to spam areas that are difficult to see (like bushes) and see if your "brightly colored egg" tooltip pops up.
11) If you can, try to do all of this when there are as few people on as possible. (Late at night/early AM.) This increases your chances of getting the gold mines where there are 5-6 all within a couple feet of each other. You can also do this in increments over several days if you can only do 30 min at a time before things get swamped.
Overall it took me about 30 minutes to collect 132 eggs before I got my strider from an egg. Either way, the achieves will take some time.

ALLIANCE FARM SPOT
my personal best
1. Go to Goldshire by the Inn at
. Its on the right side of the Inn.
2. Just wait there for
Brightly Colored Eggs
to spawn. You should stay
here at BLUE
and loot eggs as soon as they spawn.
3. Loot priority is RED>ORANGE>YELLOW. Mouseover RED or ORANGE egg to loot it ASAP.
4. Use any speed buff that you don't have to apply all the time. Druids can use fly form, hunters - aspect and so on. NEVER run more than you need to be in loot range.
A lot of players pass by spawn locations just before the eggs are spawned. I guess "do the opposite of what other players are doing" applies here too. Do not run like everybody else! Capm! Profit!
When farming for the
, I had it drop from an egg after I had about 200
. I didn't have any further use for the chocolates so I thought I might use
to transfer at least some of them to an alt. Sadly, the 1 hour cool down on the eggs makes that unrealistic.
So with 200 chocolates I could have bought 40 eggs, and set them down in a secluded location for an alt to gather ~38 chocolates. This would require 40 hours thanks to the cool down. It was worth a shot, but just not worth it.
Heres a little one that could save up some time for u farmers :) Stupid bunny transform
/use Brightly Colored Egg

This how I used the x-realm system to gain 120+ Noblegarden Chocolate per hour.
First, you either ask a friend to make a death knight on a very low pop server ( if u already got a mate on a very low pop server ask him to log on his highest level ).
After that you log on a character that is below level 55. Your friend invites you to a party, and he either just log off or keep playing.
Now you fly to for example Goldshire. This is where the fun starts. Since you are a lower level than your friend you'll get ported to his realm. And since this server is very low pop you'll have pretty much no competion.
I did this on Sporegar (EU) and it was just me and like 1-2 more players all the time. Sometimes I was alone.
Alright, I just got done getting as many eggs as I required, and I thought I'd report my findings. I gathered around 600 eggs, and these are my results:
Spring Rabbit's Foot
White Tuxedo Shirt
Black Tuxedo Pants
No mount dropped for me, so I just saved enough chocolates to buy one. Only took about 4 hours of farming eggs to get all of that.
The eggs will disappear from your bags after the event is finished!
Made the mistake of forgetting to hand them in (thinking I can collect a larger amount over 2 years and hand in a big bulk)....
THEY WILL BE REMOVED FROM YOUR BAGS AFTER THE EVENT IS OVER!
with Noblegarden 2015 blizzard added a new pet.
Mystical Spring Bouquet
can be bought for
100 Nobelgarden chocolates
from your local Noblegarden vendor.
I can confirm (today 16/02/2020) the
does drop from the
; I had collected 387 before this dropped.
In Razorhill you can stand near the mage trainer and hit 4 spawn points for these eggs. I managed to farm the 1050 I needed for the mount and pets in about an hour. You don't even have to move, just stand there and click eggs!
Stand on his bottles or the lamp and you can click all 4 spawn points without moving
Does not count as Food Eaten in your character's Statistics tab.
You could go into PVP mode and circle around Razor Hill if there is a lot of people around collecting them off of warmode.
Here is an alternative macro for both canceling the bunny spell (which silences you preventing use of the toy).
