The source's name "Vibrating Box" was outdated when 11.2 testing started, it's now named 扭动的巅峰之箱.

The completion of Campaign Chapter 4 (so, Week 2 of the 11.2 patch) is required to access the "Ecological Succession" activities, where we build a functioning ecosystem in the Oasis biodome in the northeastern part of 卡雷什.

When we complete the first 尖蜂时刻 storyline for the Oasis, we get access to general Weekly Quests, species-related Semi-Weekly Quests, and a Weekly WQ 生态演替 where we fill a bar with the mentioned quests and other activities. When the bar is filled, the Weekly WQ auto-completes and rewards the 扭动的巅峰之箱, and from what I saw, our first cache of the week always has one of the 12 pets listed with this source. There's also a chance for the 好奇的岩背兽 mount, and it seems to take the slot of a pet when it drops, so make sure you learn the mount immediately to not accidentally get mount duplicates while missing pets.

Speaking about duplicates: Unfortunately, I got a duplicate pet kinda early during testing, so there's probably no "we make sure you get all different pets first and then duplicates start dropping" mechanism. I never got pets when opening these caches on alts in the same week. When there's a chance, it seems to be super rare.
