Anyone know how to fix my multi-hearthstone macro? I used to Alt-Click to use my Dalaran Hearthstone toy but now it keeps trying to use this quest item despite me finishing the quest and no longer having the item.

EDIT: As usual, the first idea people usually give that I DIDN'T try worked. Just logout (maybe exit the game entirely) and relog and your macro will work again.

I was going nuts trying to get the Dalaran Hearthstone in TWW.

First of all, if you are starting your adventure in unlocking the Dalaran Hearthstone for your new character, once you have picked up the quest The Legion Returns from a Hero's Call Board, tell Recruiter Lee you want to skip the quests! If you're an impatient goof like me and blow past that option without looking, here is how to survive the quest line:

Every time you get dumped somewhere and nobody is there to hand you the next quest, go back to your capitol, take the Azsuna portal in the portal room, fly up to New Dalaran, go into the Violet Citadel, turn left, and talk to Archivist Elysiana. Tell her you want to do whatever option she has, and she'll teleport you to the next point in your quest.

Once you have finished Author! Author!, you're actually done! There is no need for you to pick up In the Blink of an Eye. Your toy Dalaran Hearthstone should work now. Congrats!

Getting the 达拉然炉石

Once upon a time you could just travel to the Legerdemain Inn in Dalaran and interact with the Innkeeper and pick up a 达拉然炉石. Now getting the hearthstone is linked to the beginning of the Legion questline – even though that’s way in the past.

If one character has done the Legion starting questline, your other characters can skip it.

If you have a dud 达拉然炉石 delete it before starting. Pick up the first Legion quest from the Warboard from the Adventurer’s Guide If you’re doing 克罗米 timelines, go see her and change your timeline to Legion. 克罗米 time ends after level 69. You receive the quest:
军团再临：军团回归 Heroes of the Alliance, I write to you in Azeroth's darkest hour. From the maw of hell, the burning armies of the Legion have returned. Our fleets depart for the Broken Isles at once. As a grand lance, we will pierce the Legion's lines and drive them back to the nether that spawned them. Your ship awaits in the Stormwind Harbor, make haste. Objective: Check in with 征募官李 at Stormwind Harbor.	军团再临：军团回归 Warriors of da Horde! Break out ya axes and sharpen ya spears. Da Burning Legion has returned ta our world! We be shipping outta Bladefist Bay right away. With da full fury of da Horde, we gonna smash der line so hard dat Sargeras is gonna feel it in da Nether! Get to da ships. We got demons ta slay! Objective: Check in with 霍加尔·雷斧 at the Dranosh'ar Blockade.
There are 2 choices for both Alliance and Horde: Completion: ? Legion: The Legion Returns Click on this only if you want to do the whole opening sequence to Legion. Chat Bubble: “I’ve heard this tale before… <SKIP the legion introductory quests and begin your journey in Dalaran.> Click on this if you want to go straight to Dalaran and receive the 达拉然炉石.
If you choose the Skip: You’ll be ported to Dalaran at the bottom of the staircase to Krasus' Landing. Across the street, both factions will see the Kirin Tor 奥布里吉大使 with a question mark over his head. It seems you’ve completed a quest you never knew you accepted called, Alliance 眨眼之间 / Horde 眨眼之间. (Ignore the tooltips.) You've skipped to the last quest that opens Legion. Didn't witness the relocation of Dalaran? No matter. 奥布里吉大使 says, I've heard rumors of powerful artifacts that may be of use in your campaign. Keep an eye out and a useful lead just might present itself! The resources of Dalaran are at your disposal. From here, heroes of Alliance and Horde alike will search for the Pillars of Creation! Now I must attend to other visitors. Good luck, <name>! Open your bags. Surprise! You’ve received 达拉然炉石 and 宁神书卷. No need to stop in at the Legerdemain Inn. The hearthstone is a toy so you’ll have to put it on an action bar to use it (can’t keep it in your bags anymore).
Rumours of Other Ways to get the opening Legion quests Some say 档案员艾丽西娜 in the Violet Hold of Legion Dalaran (left side) will give you the Legion opening quest. Not anymore. She offered a Magni Scenario that had nothing to do with opening Legion. I went on it, don't. Alliance: If you’re doing the whole opening questline and you’re stuck after 伊利达雷盟友 — go to Deadwind Pass and land at the entrance to Karazstan. There are three npc’s there with quests. If one of them is 大法师卡德加, see what he has to say. Portals to Dalaran in Mage Tower / The Wolf's Den Northrend Dalaran: use portal to Dalaran, the Crystal Forest. Fly up. Legion Dalaran: use portal to Azsuna. Fly up or get a flight from nearby Illidari flightpoint.
