You can't use this item at the same time as the Talisman of Ascendance http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22678

However you can alternate between the two -- and the cooldown on the ToA is 60 seconds. If you are on the ball, you can be extremely powered up (for spell damage) a majority of the time.

If you want to melt face in PvP with your AP / PoM spec, this is the damage trinket you want. Huge damage that starts high and ends low, clearly for the mage on the go. Hit your AP and ZHC, blast a fireball or frostbolt, hit PoM, blast again, and if you didn't kill whatever was under your cursor, it will probably be running from you. This is also a nice addition to your raiding build if ToA isn't within your reach and ToeP is evading you as it does most guilds.

I managed to win the Heart of Hakkar in one of my guild ZG raids.

I'm a priest, and for a while I spec'd to a PI/Smite build and it worked fantastic with this trinket and Power Infusion.

note to shamans- earth shield & healing stream totem gain the effects of healing you have at the time of their cast. so, get this, pop it, cast earth shield on the tank & healing stream, then switch if you want to

Still good, exactly after 12 healing casts you run out of bonus completely. So happy casting and enjoy the bonus. Cooldown is amazing :)

Its worth getting this epic.

Cool little bonus for paladins...

Seal of Command does not use any of the charges, but it still gets the benefit of the extra spell damage.

i think you can cast 7 spells in 20 sec averagely total bonus you gained: 1071

in 10 sec you can cast 4 spells and total bonus you gained : 400
1 min cooldown
in 2 min 400x2=800

even post wotlk one of the best caster trinkets at that level and imo in the game. i mean thats a LOT spellpower especially pre bc. also imo priceless cuz of the song =D id put a link but im too lazy=P

You think you're almighty with your epic staff with Arcane Power and a Zandalarian Hero Charm.
The only problem is you'll be ripped to shreds, and you will be nerfed by every singel glitchy patch.

This seems to be more of an AoE spellcaster trinket, in my opinion.

Because it is for every CAST, not every hit. So spells like Blizzard and Rain Of Fire, which are both channeled AoEs, would get the Spell Power minus for only the first initial cast of it, and the rest of the ticks hit without costing any more spell power.

Note: This is great in combination with the ring Wrath of Cenarius.

EDIT: I tested this, and every "pulse" or "series of hits" that your AoE does, the Zandalarian Hero Charm buff gets taken down one charge. D:<

This item is no longer obtainable, it was from the level 60 Zul'Gurub which was a 20 man raid at the time. Zul'Gurub is now a level 85 5-man dungeon.

This trinket has a very unique on use effect, however past level 60 it won't be worth using anymore. Sadly it's a trinket so equipping it wont make you look any different for the upcoming patch 4.3 using transmogrification which allows you to change the look of a piece of gear you are wearing to the look a piece of gear you own anywhere in your bank/bags.
