Does NOT require engineering to wear. This means that anyone can get these crafted by an engineer and socket 匠械：弧光体征矫正器 to get a chance (no longer guaranteed) at a brez if your comp doesn't have one.

These bracers start at 384 and go up to 418, just like the other spark of ingenuity crafted gear.

How to raise your tinker success rate (or at least die less):

If you're an engineer:

Option A:
1. Have both the engineering-crafted helm and bracers. (Helm requires engineering to wear.) Socket 匠械：接地线路 in one, and 匠械：弧光体征矫正器 in the other. 匠械：接地线路 seems to guarantee success before it goes on CD (duration currently unknown), so that's your best chance at ONE guaranteed brez in a fight. If suddenly someone dies again, though, refer to the next option:

Option B:
1. Spec into the engineering specialty Mechanical Mind > Inventions 发明创造 - specialization. This gives you the passive "Your tinkers can no longer drastically malfunction", making it no longer necessary to have 致命故障预防单元.
2. You can then have 精调的保险开关 built in when making your bracers.
3. Use the highest quality 匠械：弧光体征矫正器 you can afford, because it probably has different failure rates per quality (unproven--more info needed) as the hp rez amount stays the same.

If you're NOT an engineer:
I'd suggest using 致命故障预防单元 when making the bracers. At least it won't kill you when it backfires.

Note that "Requires Level 58" in the current wowhead item information here seems to be incorrect. The in-game tooltips say level 70, as you would expect from needing a Spark of Ingenuity. Even if you could apply a matrix to downlevel them (you can't), the lowest that would go is to require level 64.

Looking forward to when the wowhead database gets sorted out with new crafting info. Between wrong requirements and inscrutable lists of materials, searching up the basics on craftables has often been frustrating.

Can anyone confirm if I can learn the bracers recipe by repeatedly building the blue gun (P.E.W. x2型)? I have already built all four glasses and various other expensive stuff. I learned cloth, leather and mail while building the glasses, only plate is still missing. And of course that's exactly what I need for my engineer. I have already built four (rare) guns, but so far without success. Perhaps they have to be epic?
