Oh god not again...
Good one! :D
It just upgraded to epic and its an upgrade for me....guess i cant escape BFA
Has anyone gotten this item and
had it upgrade to epic?
I have seen 5 confirmed cases of this becoming epic in my guild, another couple in trade chat, and no confirmed cases of it staying rare. I'm trying to determine if this is a bug that needs to be submitted (the upgrade chance seems to be set to 100%, which I'd interpret as unintended behavior - why not just have the quest reward be epic?) or if this is a quirk of this specific item. If so, I'd be curious why it always goes epic.
Perhaps because it's referencing previous powerful artifacts (Heart of Azeroth and Worldkiller Iris)? The mere existence of this item shows that Blizzard is making a meme of themselves for an object that many players didn't care for, which I love. Is this just another layer to that?
If you are wondering what other comments are talking about:
was/is the Battle For Azeroth (BfA) artifact item (neck) that you had to collect
to empower levels for.
Raising the levels empowered the helm, shoulders, and chest items in BfA.
Once you got to a certain level, it because a seemingly neverending grind to get to the next level.
The stats would go up on the neck item with each level, but each of the three stats would be the same number as they increased.
Hence the tongue in cheek humor in WoW creating this item in Dragonflight.
This was one of the funniest quests in-game.
Where can i farm Azmerite?
"Mr mrglrl grmrrr lr mrlg, murlg mr gll mulrlgll glr a mrrl murglt. Glr mrmr ml Azmerloth mrll gr mrlged gl mll murloc."
Possible meaning: "A living symbol of hope, borne by the champions of a dying planet. The fate of Azmerloth will be shared by all her murlocs." Reference:

Another Item that will never leave my bank
At least Blizzard has some distance to their self, I liked this joke!
Blizz trying to give me a panic attack.
"Mr mrglrl grmrrr lr mrlg，murlg mr gll mulrlgll glr a mrrl murglt。Glr mrmr ml Azmerloth mrll gr mrlged gl mll murloc。"
