Requires Revered reputation with Thorium Brotherhood to purchase this formula.
This is one of those recipes that you will probably need help from your guild in acquiring because it takes quite a bit of materials to gain reputation with the Thorium Brotherhood. A number of runs through Blackrock Depths, Molten Core and such, can easily help you attain the appropriate amount of materials, but again, this isn't easily soloable at all.
I grinded for this before the 2.0.1 patch which made it much easier due to full rep from turnins. I bought mostly all the Dark Iron Ore from AH that met the price I was willing to pay. I was in a non-raiding guild back then and several people helped me get it - thanks, if you're reading this, you know who you are. Basy @ Hellscream EU, Alliance side.
Weapon enchants are now visible at the character selection screen.
It should be noted that this enchant "should" work on Heirloom items, since this can enchant level 1 items (Heirlooms are considered level 1 items). Farming the mats for TB rep should also be easy now for a level 80 toon.
This enchant obviously is one of the best caster enchants, a long with
+30 spell power
? can this be put on a 2h weapon ?
Yes. Any enchant that works on a 1H weapon also works on a 2H weapon.
This rep is still pretty hard to grind even as a level 80 unless you're on a server that has many people doing MC and putting the core's up for sale.
I have gone to this person several times and I am even HONORED with the Thorium Brotherhood, but this link or enchant does not state whether you have to be revered or exhaulted to obtain the Formula: Enchant Weapon - Mighty Intellect. It would be VERY helpful to know. When I speak to the vendor he shows me what I can buy and the formula is never in there so I am assuming you have to be either revered or exhaulted with them. Goodluck!
this is an awsome enchant for a low lvl healer ore spell dps a 330mana pool from a enchant makes going oom a hard job and you got a spell crit bonus also !
this is in my opinion much better as the 30 sp buff
I farmed all the rep within a day.
I actually did farm about 7-8 cores, the rest I bought off the ah from 35-75g ( I bought about 12 ).
I also had a Sulfuron Ingot Which I turned into the same guy which you turn in your cores and other things, turning this in gave me 1000 rep + Plans: Sulfuron Hammer, Which I placed on the AH for 2000g, I hope it sells :]
All I wanted was this recipe and I am now making 5 of them hoping they sell for 500-750g/per, mats are relatively cheap ( about 100-150g ).

If your someone who is really looking for mana at low levels with money to burn , get this on two 1h wep , macro those both on , use evocation or whatever , then put other wep on to regen mana much quicker .
This enchant is now better than the +30 spell power one, due to the fact that intellect now directly mean spell power, but also give a good chunk of mana and improve your crit rating.
With the new changes in 4.0.1, this enchant actually will now be more powerful than the +30 SP. It is a minor stat increase, but is the best overall now.
Definitely worth putting some time in to farm the mats. It's worth the investment too, since you can still get the items to turn in relatively cheaply. The 550 rep for each is a nice chunk.
This formula no longer requires revered with the thorium brotherhood.
However, revered is required to see the formula on the vendor.
Good advice*. I bought 10 "Lava Core" from AH (for only 14g each), then I joined trade channel and said:
"Looking for someone with
to transport me to Grim Guzzler, will pay 10g"**
and got a reply in less than a minute.
So much faster than flying out there and running through it, plus love the graphic of the
the dark iron tunnel machine coming up out of the ground.
I turned in the 10 Lava Cores (as of patch 4.0.3 each Lava Core gives 2000 rep), and in less than a minute was Revered with Thorium Brotherhood and was able to buy:
Enchant Weapon - Strength
Enchant Weapon - Mighty Spirit
Enchant Weapon - Mighty Intellect
and since I also have Alchemy:
Transumte: Elemental Fire
is on the upper level of the bar at coordinates (Blackrock Depths) 50, 58.***
If you get a ride on the
just run south-east out of the room you start in (about 20 yards),
take a left up the stairs, take another left at the top of the stairs so you are facing north-west and run about
20 yards and he is standing right in front of you with a big blue question mark over his head.
Also note his main window shows the different items you can turn in for rep (Dark Iron Ore, Fiery Core, Lava Core, Core Leather, and Blood of the Mountain);
to see what he sells you have to scroll to the bottom of his window and click on “Show me what I have access to, Lokhtos.”
Although you only have to be level 42 to enter the instance, the quests that Lokhtos offers require
therefore if you want to be able to turn in items to gain rep your character must be level 60 or higher (which I am sure most
people would be by the time they were looking to get the stuff he sells but I figured it was worth mentioning in case someone
had leveled up a profession on a lower level alt). Here is a list of the quests he offers (which consist of turn in an item and get rep as reward):
Be sure to buy all the items from Lokhtos before you leave the group or
be sure that
(the person with the
) to a group, and not vise-versa.
If they invite you and then you leave the group, you'll get the "You're not in this group" message and be ported out
(thanks to Sabrisen for mentioning this in another thread).
You should not need to use coordinates to find Lokhtos but if you do not have a coordinates add on
the below macro is still useful for lots of other comments that only list the coordinates.
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage(format("( %s ) %i , %i",GetZoneText(),px*100,py*100));
for those who are unfamiliar with wow macros, to add the coordinates macro just:
1. type "/macro" in the chat to open the macro window
2. click the new button
3. select an icon and type a name
4. paste above code
5. drag icon of macro to toolbar
It should be mentioned this is a limited item, and other people in separate instances can determine if the npc in yours will have the recipe. I've yet to figure out the respawn timer, but will look into it.
1.buy either dar iron ore fiery core lava core core leather and blood of the mountain.. i bought 20 lava cores for like 10g
2. go to BRD and speak to the guy that is surrounded by all the drunks aka the grim guzzler.. he will let you trade in a lava core for 2200 rep. for each lava core.
3. get revered
4. buy enchant
5. give to wink
or option B sell enchants on scrolls for 1k+ on AH

Lets say I learned this recipe and dropped enchanting. Would I be able to buy it again? Because after a month of checking everyday, I still haven't seen this recipe again.
How you get rep .. ?
