So from what I can tell, there are four different stances:
Fire, Ice, Wind, and Earth
Each of the stances imparts you with a counter attack that can provide additional buffs.
Each counter attack has the ability to crit for x2 its normal damage.
All of these numbers are based on the 395 ilvl version of the item.
Counter attack hits for about 10k and puts a dot on the enemies that does an additional 10k over 6 seconds.
Counter attack hits for about 10k and gives you a buff that heals you for 13k each second for 6 seconds.
Counter attack hits for about 15k and gives you a buff that increases your haste rating by 1900 for 6 seconds.
Counter attack hits for about 7k and gives you a buff that increases armor by 3659 for 8 seconds.
The times on buffs may not be perfect, but the other numbers are all accurate for a 395 ilvl trinket.

literally every proc is great and with demon spikes up it pretty much procs on cd
Have to say this is looking rather promising in M+.
As a guardian druid, the trinket seems to be doing 5% of my overall dungeon damage (more than brambles and mangle) putting it in the top 5 of most damaging spells in the Details list. I get this by adding up the counter attack damage of each individual stance (1-2% each).
The healing from the ice stance does 3.5% of my overall healing going up all the way to 6% in multi-target pulls.
The uptime of the armor buff from the earth stance seems to be around 6%, and same for the haste buff from the wind stance, giving a combined uptime of at least 12% of a pretty decent buff. In some trash fights the uptime of each buff went up to 13%.
I can only imagine that the situation will continue to improve as I gain more agility, which increases our chance to dodge (my current dodge chance is 21%). Considering I have a puny 381 ilvl, I expect these numbers to become pretty awesome at 420 ilvl. The number of applications of each buff and the fire debuff ranges between 7 and 10 which shows how powerful some of these effects can be.
For some reason I was unable to roll need on it in LFR when this dropped as a guardian druid with guardian druid loot spec. Which was werid
Lost this trinket 3 times so far to DPS in raids, loot rules this expansion are absolutely horrible as a tank.
