Not worth getting if your guild planning to head to molten core/aq20/zg soon, atleast not on Skullcrusher EU where horde never wins AV, maybe one in twenty runs is a win.

FYI the proc IS mitigated by armor. It can also crit; I have seen it crit a mage for 500 before.

Get this at off-hand with a Alcor's Sunrazor in main and you will get a pretty fast and lethal combination . Just because of the speed of the main dagger you will score more wounds in a single duel.

Very nice dagger for rogues that haven't reached MC yet. Fairly easy to get since patch 2.0.1, it only costs 7000 honor points and 25 AV tokens.

Before patch 2.0.1 this was a great dagger because it was very easy to get and not quite too expensive...sadly I reccomend that any rogues that do not have it to NOT get it now. If you're going to save up honor to get items (grand marshal's dirk for example) buying this (temporary) item would only make it take longer to get them.

It's just like anything you buy in real life...if you buy the lower priced one now, you get a decent product for a low price, but the wait for the far-surperior and more expensive item increases even more.

Yes the dirk or blade may be better, but its still a good offhander. The time to get a 2nd Grand Mashall/High Warlord weap isn't worth it. Especially if you plan on getting the armor and mount.

I used this as my transmog weapon until the pre panda patch, but the spell effect has changed.

Seems Blizzard has sharpened up and fiddled with the effects on a lot of models; colours glow brighter and more distinctly on a lot of them now.

Anyway, this one used to have a cool slow pulsing black glow; it's now much more skittery and sparky in effect and frankly, it's not as attractive. I'm using something that doesn't set my teeth on edge now. :(
