Then you can always grind AV rep for this shield. Although there's no defense, % to block (overrated factor anyhow) or reactive damage, the shield has high armor, stamina, and block value.

As a main tank, I've been using this shield for quite a while (waiting for the Aegis of the Blood God). I took it on when we were just starting 20-man raids in my guild and it has served me quite well.

I highly recommend it as a good stand-in for those of you in the less-than-40-man guilds until you can get either Buru's Skull Fragment or the Aegis of the Blood God.

I have also tanked with this shield for some time and it is very good. I highly recommend up-and-coming tanks farm the AV marks/honor and get this. The new honor system should see you get this over a single AV double-honor weekend!

As mentioned above, Buru's Skull Fragment or the Aegis of the Blood God is probably the next thing to strive for.

After thinking about it for a short bit, both this item and the unstoppable force are complete lies =/ To hold the unstoppable force still would be impossible if it truly were unstoppable. And to carry around something that was meant to be immovable... well that one's kind of self-explanitory

According to modern scientific understanding, no force is completely irresistible, and there are no immovable objects and cannot be any, as even a minuscule force will cause a slight acceleration on an object of any mass. An immovable object would have to have an inertia that was infinite, and therefore infinite mass. Such an object would collapse under its own gravity and create a singularity. An unstoppable force would require infinite energy, which does not exist in a finite universe.

I asked a GM about what will happen if The Unstoppable Force hits / pulls The Immovable Object. His answer was 42.

Maybe if you have 2 naked lvl 60 players, 1 with The Unstoppable Force and 1 with The Immovable Object and The Unstoppable Force will hit the other player for an average of 42 damage. Following cataclysm and the end of Azeroth, then Deathwing will squeeze through the dark portal and devour the outlands. Then Blizzard kills the players who did it and take over the world.... Something, something...

Yeah I also haven't paid attention to physics in school, but...

What's with the force moving with velocity? Force does not have it's own velocity, it can only make an object move with certain acceleration (and reach certailn velocity). Also, the object to be immovable has to have infinite inertia; inertia is mass, so the size does not matter.

An example (however a bit abstract) of an immovable object would be a black hole. You can't move it with any kind of force, because you'd need to put the force to it with another mass ("touch it with mass") and you can't do that because the black hole's mass is so great, it pulls everything, including light and time, and noone has any faintest idea what the hell happens to all matter sucked into the black hole. Still the black holes move through the universe, because the universe moves :O

I guess when a black hole would hit a black hole, we would have a situation where we have two unthinkable masses, and an unthinkable force between them, also both of them theoretically cannot be neither stopped nor moved.

Oh, and a black hole is infinitely small.

I am not claiming to be an physics here. So I will just tell that i learned some.

According to stephen hawkings theory about blackholes, is that if two black holes mets they will spin around each other and pulls closer and closer until they fuse together and becomes a bigger hole in fabric of space.

A black hole is simple a place there gravity was so huge it made fabric of space collapse downwards, the mass who made it become a black hole vanishes and it allows more mass from around get sucked in. You cannot see the black hole itself due as you say fotons(light) gets sucked in too, that you can see is the horizon of the hole there mass is on the edge of it. Black holes spins around very fast, kinda like a vortex(not accurate but a good lie to describe it is not still). The thing is that a black hole does not have to be station, placed at one spot. It can move like a star, and usually does. It is not usually very fast though, the fastest object is most likely neutron stars who can move 100 000 km/h some or faster some of them.

Black holes is not something to be taken lightly, they are as you also says very hard to know something about.
Black holes are the simplest thing to describe in universe also by definations. You got only 3 definations for it, there as a hair (single hair, bit tired so lost memory for just the word for it) can be defined in millions of aspects.

THe thing is if a immovable force hit an immovable object, the force would move it energy around the object said. It would also make energy(heat), due we do not know how much velocity it is i cannot really say how severe it would be. Also is the force constant or is it briefly?

How big is the object, it could be small as a atom but not moving simple or big as universe, this also matters?

How is the object shaped like, is it a square or a cylinder? Perhaps it is a sphere?

Excuse me, that's why I said "the closest the universe can contain". I meant exactly that. There cannot exist an immovable object in our universe, but if there was a theoretical black hole, the largest black hole in existence, then it might not be movable by any other single object if it were large enough. Read the first line again:

"Hmm, but can an immovable object have an initial state of movement?"

Consider if such a black hole that I vaguely described just materialized out of thin space with its initial movement. Could it still be called immovable?

I may be wrong, I'm only working with required university level physics here, but I think my conclusion can be seen as at least plausible. Though I think such a black hole would destroy the universe that retains it if it could even exist.

tl;dr: I wasn't stating that black holes don't move, I was interested if they might be the closest thing to immovable.

Black Holes are the remains of giant stars that became unstable due the internal combustion no longer being sustainable. This instability is created as Hydrogen collides with Helium to make Lithium and eventually even more heavier elements. Once a star starts producing heavy metals like Iron it shrinks in visible size but the mass has grown to a point where light is starting to be effected.

Because the star was large enough it continues, fusing Iron into other metals until the star has "cooled" to a breaking point. At this point it explodes the remaining loose elements into the universe spreading them to planets and other astrological bodies. This is how the natural elements are created and how they arrive on planets such as Earth.

Because the stars mass was so great that it started to affect light (thus the visible shrink) the core of the star, now a small chunk of super heavy metal, starts to pull the cloud of dust around the star into its self. This growth causes the mass to increase exponentially and with it the gravitational pull. At this point it is not a black hole but a Nebulous.

Once the Nebulous collapses, it will have a near infinite mass and gravity will be so high light will not escape. This is now a Black Hole. Now the Black Hole has near infinite mass and all other matter is acted upon by the immense gravitational pull. It has a stable velocity determined at the time of its creation.

Now I would say this IS an immovable object. It is moving at a constant velocity and Newton's Laws state an object in motion wants to stay in motion unless acted upon by an outside force. To act upon the core of the Black Hole would require matter to interact with it but no matter can interact with it since all matter is channeled through the Black Hole and becomes part of the overall mass.. Since no force (except the gravity of another Black Hole which breaks my argument) can provide enough force to break the inertia needed to change velocity, a Black Hole is an immovable object.

Come to think of it, everything is "unstoppable" in the sense that the kinectic energy created and stored in the moving object cannot be destroyed, only absorbed, converted or redirected. Since we're talking about an unstoppable force, let's just say that the most likely thing to happen is that it would simply bounce off the shield... Technically it never stops, it just starts moving in another direction. Absorbtion by the immovable object could be done by breaking/splitting in 2, then through centrifugal force the object(s) would "not move" but the unstoppable force would be able to continue... unstopped.

Please tell me if this makes any sense? I'm not saying it's right, but it's theoretically a possibility
