I've been using the Heroism Deck for quite sometime. 120-180 healing isn't all that great, but having it proc 2-3 times does stack up. Problem some people might see is that many melee classes have 4+ thousand Health, so 120-180 isn't much at all.
Cute little trinket, but try to find something else to fill the slot.
This item is just ok for anyone who is doing meelee damage. The 120 to 180 really isn't a whole lot, even though it might stack a couple times. As the comment before said, this trinket is just ok, and for someone with a lot of health... especially tanks, it's not worth spending your time getting or buying.
The proc percentage on this thing is not as often as I'd like, I was using this along with the
Crusader Enchant, and Crusader would proc WAY more than this card. All in all it's "ok" but not really worth it in my opinion as there are a lot of better / more useful trinkets out there.
This item is a very nice trinket for those with fast attacks, instant attacks, and tanks. I recommend this item for fury warriors that cannot expect healing (battlegrounds, for example), Soloing/grinding rogues, and reckoning paladins. While the amount healed is small, it will add up over time and can surely save your life as well as take stress off of your healer if you are in a party.
I heard that there is an item in Burning Crusade that offers a similar effect but comes with stats, but I do not know its name
This is one of the better trinkets out there, even into BC. It procs very often (3-4 times a fight with a 2h sword) and heals mostly between 125 and 160 but I have seen it proc at 180 a couple of times and even crit heal for 297. The amount healed does not seem to matter what weapon is used like some trinkets and abilities do, which makes it all the better for duel wielding.
Does anyone know if this card will proc off a shield spike or Retribution Aura? I was thinking about using it for AoE grinding on my prot pally. Maybe acting like an additional seal of light.
Any idea whether this has any valuable amount of added threat for a 60ish tank? Or is it not worth the trouble?
Feral druid, just to be thorough.
I'm currently saving for it because I've already got
. I'm a rogue so all the procs help out a lot. I still hate pallies though. lol
^ Check this out if you can't get the deck together. less healing, but static AP. 30 marks of honour hold , which is 10 days of doing the daily, or 30 kills of honor-giving players in the zones, or a combination of the two.
for horde equivalent, also 30 marks.
Can this proc* from
My main is a prot pally and I'm thinking of picking one of these up. If it procs on HALF of my AOE's, then this would
as a pretty consistent HoT. Someone already confirmed that it doesn't proc on a shield spike.
So, does anyone know if it procs on the following:
Also, how about
While I'm at it, I might as well ask if anyone knows if it procs on DoT's.
"I am Heroism: Victory is at hand! Stand up and fight, for fate and justive will never tip the scales against you if you fight for what's right."
Heroism symbolises the good fight, the competion and honor that are produced from conflicts. Victory at all costs, if the cost is honorable and just for both sides.
Bravery, honor and victory infuse this card in the upright position.
Anxiety, impulsivity and unconfidence infuse this card in the reversed position.
Might be useful to have this as a tank when combined with lifestealing weapon enchant, for a few levels anyway a tank would be recieving a nice chunk of healing, making your healer very happy indeed..although they might get bored and start DPS'ing, not a bad thing.
Both are cheap as chips and would make you feel a little indestructible for a while, would also be fun in BG, but prob would not get enough procs of either in such a DPS heavy Enviroment.
Anyone know why this would be usefull on WoD? the cards are very expensive like it would actually be a usefull trinket at lvl 100.
Also I find it odd that it say "Sometimes heals the wielder for blabla when damaging an enemy in melee" So does it mean "Damaging an enemy WITH A MELEE ATTACK" or does it mean "Damaging an enemy WITHIN MELEE RANGE" Because arcane explosion can damage lots of enemies within melee range :D
