Got mine on normal on 7th attempt. Ran Mythic once, Heroic Twice, it dropped on normal difficulty. I'm guessing 30% chance?

So... According to my DBM addon i now have 32 normal runs, 6 hc runs and 2 mythic (only 1 lootable) and still no Memory :( dont realy know what i should think of it? fastest normal run was 31 minutes.. so lets say an avarage of 35 pr. Thats 1.120 minutes OR 18.66 Hours.. and thats ONLY in normal.... /cry /sadface

Farming this as a raider trialing for a cutting edge guild is a nightmare.

So far I am;
2x Mythic
6x Heroic
31x Normal

IMPORTANT: Blizzard has confirmed that they have upgraded the drop chances for ALL memories and that the drop chances now scale based on dungeon difficulty.

= 49 runs, and it finally dropped on normal. It has been said before, but people REALLY should use the tactic where you group up with 4x other hunters and run through the instance and feign death at third boss. You save so much time. Best of luck, let's hope Blizzard fixes the droprates.

Absolute nightmare for any progression oriented player who wants to put in the work and walk in week 1 with his best foot forward. It's not even a fun grind, just a tedious one.

I'll update this if I get it to drop or if any information about different difficulties having different drop chances comes out. So far it seems it's 1% across the board.

EDIT 1: Changed the amounts of runs I have done. No drop or new information yet. 1/12/2020

EDIT 2: Changed the amounts of runs I have done again. Second reset, no drop. This feels literally endless. I am 186 ilvl and literally missing a 184 belt from being fully decked out, but I cannot for the love of god get this legendary to drop. F. 2/12/2020

EDIT 3: Changed the amounts of runs I have done. Dropped on 49th run, normal, 5x hunter strat with 5 min runs is BIS for farming this.

EDIT 4: Final edit. Added information about blizzard upping drop rates for memories in a hotfix.

My Statistic:

M0: 1 Kill
Hc: 9 Kills
Nh: 57 Kills...

Best way to grind it is a 5 man Hunter group. Just run through till the first stairs. Feign.
After that you can basicly run through without getting in combat, just run through the water.

Last part before boss just carmo, and all nuke the boss. One run lasts around 4 minutes, so you might get dungeon lock out.
But thats by far the most efficient way of farming it.

I figured I'd add my experience here for more data. I got it on my 11th normal run, but also ran 3 heroics and 1 mythic. That's a total of one drop in 15 runs, so about a 7% drop rate from my anecdotal experience.

Took me 1x Mythic, 5x Heroic and 45x Normal runs to finally get it (dropped on Normal). No more Plaguefall for me for at least a few days, yay!

I have made a full hunter runs and we did it about 10 times normal speedruns, in which we got 3 total of those items (I got mine at 8th run).

Here is the video which shows you how to do it as hunters. It's done best with at least 3 nicely geared hunters (at least 1 bm to tank boss).

Requires a bit of cooperation, but it's pretty easy to do once you understand how it works.

In case some of you don't understand how people have been doing plaguefall 40-90 times during week 1 of SL. There is a method which involves 3-5 hunters soloing the only boss required. Where you basicly skip most stuff by running on your mount with anti-daze and then FD, followed by some camoflague skip. The boss is then tanked by a pet. These runs are super easy and only take around 4mins, so you'll hit the dungeon cap for 10dungeons per hour.

This legendary is BiS for early game M+ (If you do not have Surging Shots) and BiS for early-Late game Raid. Yes, this legendary will take anywhere from 1-63 kills to obtain...(Yes...61 kills in Normal/heroic and 2 kills in mythic is when i finally got it). May the odds be forever in your favor....

However. I talked to my friend and he told me to get The Forgotten One achievement and that I should try again. So I got The forgotten one achieve and tried again. I got it two runs after getting the achievement. Can someone confirm that you needed that achievement? or was I just lucky I got it two runs after. It wasn't easy finding that information and if so I think it should be an information text on Wowhead about that.

A small advice from me - make legendary ring, because ring has much more characteristics than soulders.

I got really lucky with this drop! I got it the day after I unlocked rune carving. It was my second power that dropped but I got it on my first legendary. Feels bad seeing all of these people doing so many attempts and I legit got it on my first dungeon attempt at farming Plaguefall

I did 8 runs on normal, Followed by 17 runs on heroic before I got it to drop. By that time I had a socketed ring, bracers, legs out of plaguefall, Literally every piece of loot but one had dropped 6+ times, enough times i got lucky with a socket of each.

Some helpful tips for hunters: On Domina you can flare her adds out of stealth(obv) but you can also throw a freezing trap where the web is and freeze/unstealth them immediately. You can do this as well for the eye of maldraxxus adds prior that throw a bulwark up, freeze trap stops it.

Good luck! Make sure you unlocked runecarver before running this.

Not sure whether the drop rates have changed on normal, as I've read quite alot of complaints about it, but I got this today on my 4th run of normal Plaguefall! Was expecting to be in it for the farming long haul so I was very surprised.

These stats are awful, been farming it for 4 days in a row now.

I've tried all tricks to this, doing runecrafting quest chain, changed into BM etc. Running out of hope.

I know this is all RNG and that this doesn't mean much, but I ran this on normal a couple times leveling a hunter alt, then decided it was wicked dps as MM and tried this on heroic once, and then got it first mythic 0 the same day. As you know, drop rate now increases dramatically with dungeon difficulty, and M+ > M0 > heroic > normal. In which case, I figured starting mythic would be less tedious than farming normal with an all-hunter group. Suppose it's the luck of the draw, though.

Just made a hunter alt cuz mm is looking kinda good in 9.1, the drop rate on this is insanely low still, or i am just unlucky. On my other chars most of my legos dropped from raid bosses and i got all of them first try, this is the first memory i have to farm in dungeons and so far ive been running pf for 5 hours and still no drop. Not even to other hunters in my group. This is just ridiculous, i got from fresh 60 to 202ilvl in one day with tw event, pvp and covenant armor and now i will spent the next 2 days farming this lego through dungeon Qs... Feels good man.

18 runs through normal, heroic, mythic and mythic+. I cannot recall any other memory on any of my alts having as much difficulty as hunter trying to get this. You cannot progress in SL without a legendary. Cone on Blizz, fix the drop rate, please.
