You can customize the stat the proc gives your party by buying songs from Master Clerk Salorn. At the Star Lake Amphitheater.

The items are:

Mistcaller's Ballad for Mastery
Mistcaller's March for Haste
Mistcaller's Dirge for Critical
Mistcaller's Aria for Versatility

When I did the Mists of Tirna Scithe, I was telling my Guildies that the maze reminds me of so much of the Lost Forest from Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, and after getting the Mistcaller Ocarina trinket from Mistcaller it just confirmed it :) the devs have taste.

This item buffs only yourself and the people of your party. If using the default versatility, this means you may want to be organized with tanks and healers in a raid, maybe.

I feel there's a missed opportunity here for a group with 4 trinkets all Night Fae using different stats and in turn giving a new "Harmonised" buff which could be either a +all buff for a longer duration or maybe even something like a leech proc buff.

Bit overkill to try and achieve though since the ability to change is Night Fae only. :(

Is the buff uptime worth it over a general damage trinket?

This only buffs you and people in your party, not your raid. So if you use it in a raid only the people in your "party" (4 others) get the buff.

Procs only on spells and abilities, so no auto-attacks.
The buff has about 30% uptime. Tested on both aoe and single target.

When I try to change the secondary stat it says I cannot change it. I am a rogue and it currently has avoidance as the secondary stat. anyone happen to know what I am doing wrong here?

I find it annoying that the buff falls off every time I port or enter an instance.
