There are four versions of this trinket, determined by which bonus IDs are present on it.
- one gives a crit buff, 无羁拟态者, with bonus ID 6916
- one gives a haste buff, 无羁拟态者, with bonus ID 6917
- one gives a mastery buff, 无羁拟态者, with bonus ID 6918
- one gives a crit, haste, and mastery buff; 无羁拟态者, with bonus ID 6915
The crit, haste, and mastery buff has around 41.8% of each stat relative to the buffs that only buff a single primary stat, which can make it stronger if all three stats are strong for your specialization.

This trinket can change its bonus ID whenever you gain any Well Fed buff. If you eat 刺脊鱼舒芙蕾薯条套餐, 暗冠烧烤肉冻, or 苹果酱虹色煎饺 it will usually become the crit, haste, or mastery version, respectively. However, there is a low chance the first time you gain a Well Fed buff each day that it will instead become the 无羁拟态者 version. You can track the status of whether the trinket is still able to transform into the three stat version each day with the following script. If the quest is complete, then you cannot attempt to transform it until the next daily reset.

This trinket states it gives 205 haste in dungeon journal and on the item after acquisition. But the proc and checking the numbers on sheet state 102 haste.

Just watched in real time as the trinket was changed from 205 haste to 205 mastery. Had a message pop up in the chat log "Your was changed to ."

It changed when I ate mastery food. Interesting mechanic.

As for the actual proc amount, I couldn't say, I have since replaced it. It changed when I ate Shadowlands buff food, I didn't have previous expansion buff food to test with. If I get another one, I will report back with more information.

Got one today from a mythic run. I ate a 刺脊鱼舒芙蕾薯条套餐 and expected it to change from haste to CRIT. However, after eating the food, it did not change. Anyone else has this problem? This happen even when the /dump C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(60826)
is False

Update1:
After a few days of failure of not being able to proc CRIT on it after eating 刺脊鱼舒芙蕾薯条套餐, I had a one time success that proc 97 crit, haste and mastery with 烘焙港口山药. After that successful proc, I logged out and logged in back the next day and the effect changed again to it's default haste option. Ever since then, I tried eating 刺脊鱼舒芙蕾薯条套餐 every day after reset to no avail. However, I tried eating 奶油糖果腌肉排 after reset today and the trinket did change to CRIT!

ok, today i started with no well feed buff and a mastery-proc-version (think i had mastery food on drop, so maybe mastery is my "base")

Day 1 (5/12/2020):
- (mastery as base-proc-chance) 烘焙港口山药 and i got 无羁拟态者 (97 crit + haste + mastery proc-chance)
- (haste as base-proc-chance) 深炸咸肉饼 and nothing happend.Trinket is still haste-proc and script switched to true

Day 2 (6/12/2020):
- (mastery as base-proc-chance) 暗冠烧烤肉冻 got me 231 无羁拟态者

Day 3 (7/12/2020):
- my yesterday changed trinket is still haste and script is on false. weird. i think i stop here with testing and wait some days. maybe there is some tuning comming from blizz

directly after getting the well feed buff (10 sec eating) u get "Your was changed to ." in chat.

@EDIT. after i logged in couple hours later, chat said my trinket changed again. Told me it changed back to mastery. i have no wellfeed buff or anything. Script also said true. for testing, i ate 烘焙港口山药 (full 20 seconds) again and nothing happend... dont know if it is a bug or blizzard wants it that way. if it stays that way u want to change it right before raid/myth+ session (and hope u get no disconnect xD)

I had a wierd bug with the trinket, i had the trinket in haste mode, ate a crit food so it changed to crit and untill i logged out i could have both haste and crit proc. Even at the same time.

Edit: Changed back to haste now next day and i can still get the crit proc

this thing doesn't proc for me at all no matter what food i eat or if it's in my bags or equiped and it doesn't change from haste, which while that isn't a bad thing it now has no uniqueness about it.

i don't know if they changed it or i'm doing something wrong but i'm kind of disappointing now after reading the comments here

also when i equip it in place of my darkmoon deck trinket at 200 ilvl my item level changes to 187 / 190.38 but when i put the darkmoon deck back on it changes to 188 / 188.81 so i'm not really sure what's going on with that

As of 12/19/20, I can confirm that I got the trinket with a haste proc at 194 iLvl. I blew through a costly 11 pieces of food in an attempt to switch the proc to mastery. I also typed in the code someone listed above which spit out a "false". I went back to the AH, bought some super cheap Meaty Apple Dumplings, threw the trinket into my second slot, ate one piece of food and it changed to the mastery proc which reflected on the trinket and within the buff given by the trinket. I put in the aforementioned code again and this time it spit out a "true". I went on to buy some crit food(boiled silkworm pupa) and ate 3 but the trinket did not change. It's difficult to know if there is only a percent chance of the trinket changing or if it's just bugged. For what it's worth, a blue post by bliz on 12/16 says, "The Unbound Changeling trinket now triggers more reliably. Players can now change the stats of Unbound Changeling as many times as they like, but they still have one chance per day to get the all stats transformation.". I wish more reliably meant 100% of the time you eat food, the trinket will change but that does not appear to be the case. Hopefully this helps some other confused people out there.

changed from haste to all (haste, mastery, crit) after eating haste food while I was raiding. Before that, I had been eating tons of primary stat foods. I have no idea how this trinket works

A recent patch made this more predictable so eating a stat food for Mastery, Haste, or Critical Strike will change the trinket to proc the respective stat. It's not restricted to once per day anymore. I am uncertain if the triple stat version still has only one chance per day to trigger or if it can be triggered upon any change, but I've eaten 20 meals and have only gotten one stat respective to that food's buff.

I've submitted a screenshot of how my Unbound Changeling changing nine (9) times while I was just standing in the Heart of the Forest (Night Fae covenant) on my fire mage. My mage was just standing there, doing nothing, not eating any buff food, etc. The trinket tooltip is what popped up when I clicked the last of the link changes...which is great, because crit is essential for fire mages if you want to proc lots of Hot Streaks and instant-cast Pyroblasts. But I have no idea how or why it decided to change itself so much. If I had eaten buff food, it might've influenced the thing to change...but then again, it might not have. So let the trinket-wearer beware. This critter-trinket really IS unbound!

After getting this in in the vault from the 2nd m+ week and changing it to mastery (think it was haste originally/whatever) it hasn't changed since then.

yesterday when eating mastery food in m+ it randomly decided to roll all stats and just now when logging in it changed at least 13 times at once according to chat, wtf...

My trinket was set to the mastery proc. I was trying to change it to haste, but it would not change even after eating haste food. I even tried eating crit food, but it would still not change. This had been going on for about 2 weeks now.

Randomly, I though about changing the trinket to my 2nd (bottom) trinket slot (slot 14) instead of my 1st (top) trinket slot (slot 13). After changing the trinket to the bottom trinket slot (slot 14), the next time i ate haste food, it actually did change the proc to haste. I suggest trying that yourself if your trinket proc is not changing.

How can i keep the 3 stats version?
After days of trying, i got the 3 stats version of this trinket finally.
Can i unequip it before eating food, then re-equip it after finishing eating(after the food eating buff expired)?

So.... I feel stupidly lucky and have no way to confirm this but this just dropped from my Tribute chest from completing WQ's in Ardenweald.

Any idea of the drop chance? Can't even see a reference to it dropping from the Tribute chests here...

For those of you who aren't able to get the Trinket to change, no matter what type of Food you eat, what worked for me is leveling my Cooking. I tried every stat buff food available and it would never change, however after leveling my Cooking to max, suddenly it changes every time I eat.

The triple buff lasts only for 1 day and it auto change to 1 type secondary stat despite you didn't eat any food buff.

If your changeling isn't changing, swap its trinket slot and try again. It should function properly after that. I had to move mine to the Trinket 2 slot to get it to cooperate.

If you have one sitting in the bank from an old season , you're stat food won't change the trinket. After deleting the old Unbound trinket , it is working finally.

For the dummies like me it changes based on the food you eat, so if you eat haste food it will turn into haste, and vice versa for crit and mastery. Had it stuck on crit for a shameful amount of time becuase of reasons..... Any who it has a random chance to turn into the three stat one for a period of time, although I think if you get it to proc it, then as long as you don't east crit, mast or haste food, it will stay like that given mine wouldn't change until I ate the respective food type.

If the changeling isn't changing stat upon eating log out for a minute, unequip and requip the trinket, then eat the food of your preferred stat. Seems to have sorted that problem for me.

What happens if the food you eat to tease its power is a Weird Food (e.g. Magic Eater, savory deviate delight, etc)

Am i crazy or did this trinket change? Eating food doesn't change its stats anymore...
It just grants you haste,crit and mast for 12 seconds.
