Guildmate got this item in resto spec, but doesn't proc with heals.

Edit: Update for 1/28/20, Item now works for healing spells!

Quite handy actually now that the Goblin Glider no longer works, if you carry the 8.3 Legendary Cloak anyways.

It has kinda levitate effect: mob kicked me from the hill, I just glided down.
I'd say procs pretty often, looks awesome!

1/29/2020 Wedneday 5:45pm. BFA 8.3 this drop from my time walking cache quest reward. the time walking quest is "A Savage Path Through Time". I purchase bonus loot tickets but none of the trinkets drop for me while doing the new raid Ny'alotha so I'm surprise and happy at the same time. One thing, the trinket that dropped for me is different from the one on wowhead. the one that dropped for me has a socket on it. hope this help someone.

Was just hotfixed to have an On Use for slow fall, and the proc no longer slow falls.

This nifty trink was indeed hotfixed recently. I have noted the following:

No longer gives you slowfall when it procs, you have to use the "Use" feature (I am ok with this, gives me a measure of control when I want to use it).

No longer lifts you off the ground when it procs (it looked weird anyway, but I'm sure someone might miss it).

Grants you a speed boost as the flavor text indicates it should (I never noticed a speed increase when it proced before).

Still grants you a haste increase (though, I feel like the haste is much quicker, maybe it wasn't working properly before?)

am i missing something? Or is this just a worse version of the rezan trinket out of Atal. Why would you ever use this over that?.I get what blizzard is going for to spice up items. But to make final raid trinkets strictly worse than dungeon trinkets is a little weird.

I love love LOVE this trinket! I have never had a cape or any special effect that procs wings. I got it and in the dash of the raid, I had a quick look at stats and thought "big deal... I can slow fall". Didn't read the bottom bit and was confused at the next lot of mobs why I kept sprouting wings! Thought it was a buff Wrathion gave us for freeing him. Penny didn't drop until the end of the raid.

Now I know why everyone leaves the raid after Wrathion!

Wish to get this as a toy with reducing falling speed with cd like 5-10 mins. For leveling it would be really amazing

I'm guessing the on-use slow fall mechanic was specifically implemented because of the fact that engineers cannot apply 地精滑翔器 to 阿什拉·卡马斯，决意之护. Since there are many people who have pointed out that they take engineering on most (if not all) of their toons for the cheap infinite-use goblin glider cloak tinker, there was probably enough complaint from the community about the legendary cloak's inability to have the tinker applied that Blizzard put the effect into this universal trinket.

My guild friend insists she got this trinket as a pvp reward or something like that. She hasn't set foot in in Ny'alotha. I was surprised to see her wings when we were doing island together as I knew she wasn't raiding. So it does come from somewhere else but I can't find any info on this. Anyone know?

Looks like as of 5/19/20 the use part of this trinket is gone.. unsure if it's a glitch or not

Kind of funny how everyone wants this for the animation in this fail expansion. No animation for the "legendary" cloak, no animation for the neck piece this whole xpac was based on (unless you want to count the legendary essense you can grind for and the proc that I never even notice).

Several notes on this item:
1) Just to emphasize what the tooltip already says, the on-use effect (buff id 316944 巨龙降落) requires that you have the BfA patch 8.3 legendary cloak 阿什拉·卡马斯，决意之护 equipped.
2) This 巨龙降落 on-use effect is a typical slow fall in that you cannot change directions mid-air.
3) Unlike the on-use effect, the Equip proc of 15 seconds of Haste and Speed (buff id 313571 飞龙在天) does NOT require that you have the legendary cloak 阿什拉·卡马斯，决意之护 equipped.
4) Periodic damage (e.g., bleeds, magic DoTs, etc.) CAN trigger 飞龙在天.
5) This CAN proc while 飞龙在天 is already active. When that happens, the buff time is simply reset to 15 seconds.
6) I ran two tests on a Feral Druid, doing my best to maintain three bleeds on the target(s):
-- The first test was for 1 minute on two target dummies, and I had approximately 58 seconds of buff uptime (96.7%), though this included a fortunate proc on my first ability.
-- The second test was for 3 minutes on one target dummy, and I had 1 minute 45 seconds of uptime (58.3%).
7) The 飞龙在天 buff only increases ground movement speed, not flying or swimming movement speed.
8) The 飞龙在天 buff persists through Druid form changes.
9) I tested the Raid Finder (iLvl 430) version. While the 飞龙在天 buff was active, my level 120 Druid had a 4% increase in movement speed when no other speed procs were active. (Note that with Normal, Heroic, etc. versions of the trinket, the Speed proc amount is slightly higher, so expect a small increase in speed with better versions of the trinket.)

This item makes a nice addition to any old content speed equipment set that you may have -- with or without 阿什拉·卡马斯，决意之护 equipped -- especially since there aren't many trinkets that increase movement speed.

As a monk I'm really happy to get this. There is literally 0 class utility for it. I was too used to a mage that was a god in those things.

With the prepatch they somewhy removed the aura buff you get on the use (for slow fall)
This is really bad since it makes it impossible to remove the slow fall. Making macros useless

In prepatch 9.0.1. the animation of wings is bugged on druid feral when are in cat form ( i use fire kitty)
