10x Dark Iron Ores for 50 reputation points.
2x Core Leather for 150 points.

Unless you havre a guild bank just popping these things out, they really should not be used to gain faction just because of their crafting value. Rather, have some rogues stealth mine BRD for ore and Blood of the Mountain.

in short:

1. Buy from AH 20 of those. (21 if your guild is not lvl12)
2. Goto BRD and turn in the items
3. you are now Exalted with Thorium Brotherhood

Lot of ppl will run MoltenCore on wed, prices on AH will be very low in the following days, on my server 60silver/each, so exalting this rep can cost you as low as ~15golds!

These should be at least 15g each due to giving 2000 reputation with Thorium Brotherhood.

Getting exalted with Thorium Brotherhood unlocks alot of recipes that can be used for twinking/completion of one's profession recipes.

Where to hand in:

罗克图斯·暗契 in Burning Steppes / Blackrock Mountain / Blackrock Depths / The Grim Guzzler

From my observations, the trashmobs have significantly lower drop rate for Lava Cores and Feiry Cores.

Turning 20 of these (at 2200 rep a piece) into 罗克图斯·暗契 will take you from neutral to exalted with the Thorium Brotherhood.
