Is it deferring your heals from actual healing you're doing? Or is this extra healing that is being stored...
"Defer" seems to indicate it's from your heals.
That could be great for overheal prevention, then using what would have been overheals to effectively heal injured players. Not so great when you actually need throughput unless you just keep moving.
Interested to see how this plays.
Got the ilvl430 version tonight. Healing starts accumulating as long as you don't move, combat or no combat. I'm currently standing in the middle of The Great Seal with 255 stack at 434,855 deferred healing. As soon as I moved, it blew entire load, and started to tick up again. Deferred healing can also crit.
As Kaalipso said before, there doesn't seem to be a maximum stack for this trinket, though I've never been AFK long enough to find out
I got this last night from the Timewalk Dungeon quest. Even if you're continuously moving (such as in PvP) you still get to heal yourself and two others once every 3 second. In other words, you don't need to stand still unless you anticipate an emergency, because no heal is ever wasted.
As a WPvP person, this is quite a blessing, because you could surprise your opponent by standing there and take a beating, and suddenly heal back a chunk when you move, particularly powerful with me being a Druid in any of the spec + Restore Affinity.
255 is maximum stacks you can have which is unreasonable as you have to stand in one place for nearly 13 minutes. The stored healing will disappear if you are max hp and there is no other target. It will overheal targets around you. It heals 3x (stored amount) not (stored amount) / 3
The deferred healing does disappear when an encounter/boss fight starts, so you can't store a bunch for a large burst heal at the start of an encounter.
Doesn't proc in Mythic+. Had 255 stacks and they just never release.
It should be mentioned, that this works with the hoy priest mastery, Echo of Light.So even though the stacks drop at the start of an encounter, as a holy priest it could be somewhat useful to wait for some stacks and move just before the start of the encounter.
edit: It seems like lline of sight does NOT affect its heals.
It seems to stack every 3 seconds regardless if you are moving or not. So basically, if you're moving the whole time, it will tick every 3 seconds.
