So, for the casual player who picks this up in LFR (ilvl 400)...

DPS-wise, this seems to be better than Pocket-sized Computation Device with higher level cards slotted. I had a ilvl 418 Computation Device with a 420 yellow card, and the Phial out dps-ed it on a raid dummy.

Just a thought.

So every time this trinket's proc hits only one enemy, it will grant another stack of the proc buff. Each stack increases the speed at which the damage ticks happen (and therefore causes more overall damage to go out, since the duration remains fixed at 20 seconds). This effect can stack up to 6, at which time the trinket is hitting several times per second.

The important part of all of this, is that the stacks do not reset once it starts hitting multiple enemies. So, if you can proc this and only hit 1 enemy with it for the first 8 or 9 seconds, wait for it to stack to 6, and then run into a group of enemies, it will now hit the entire group at the super fast speed it sped up to while you only were in range of one enemy. I have seen this effect cause the trinket to do an incredible amount of my damage (up to 14%) on certain specific trash pulls where you are DPSing one target first and then pulling a large group of weak enemies immediately afterwards.

Not a super useful bit of information, but very interesting nonetheless, as the the trinket's tooltip kind of made me think it would lose its faster ticking speed if you started hitting multiple mobs after the speedup. Happy to see this is not the case!
