These come from the Burning Felguards summoned by the Scarshield Warlocks. They mostly summon Imps, occasionally a Felhound, and veeeery rarely a Felguard. The Felguards have about a 13% drop rate of this item. Since they can't harm cloth wearers at level 120, just kill the non-warlocks at the top of the instance, then sit and wait. Within a few minutes you'll have a large crowd of imps and such around you. Just sit. Go get yourself something to drink, make a sandwich, pull up something on YouTube. Then check back every few minutes to see if you summoned a Felguard. I killed three Felguards from four or so warlocks in about ten minutes. They're much taller than the everything else so they're easy to pick out and target. You can farm them as long as it takes to get the Demonskin Gloves or Phase Blade, its unique drops. Expect the whole process to take an hour or longer, so have something ready to do.
is a rare that can spawn from
, a summoning spell used by
s in Lower
. He can drop the following loot:
The warlocks can be found around the entrance of the dungeon at multiple locations. If you're looking to farm the transmogs, I recommend clearing the whole area using single target spells and spare the warlocks, then LoSing them so that they stack next to each other, then move a bit further away. That way, they'll be at range so you don't actually kill them while cleaving the army of
s spawning. They can also spawn
s, but they don't drop anything.
If you're slightly unlucky with your drops or spawn, the warlocks may eventually run out of mana. In that case, you can reset them by either using an ability like
or simply run out of the instance. If you kill one of them by accident, you can also zone out and reset the instance.
If you're a collector, your best bet would be to farm this rare on either a
, since they can equip both. However, the gloves do share an appearance with many other items, so just make sure you can at least equip the unique sword.
