Beastmaster Hunter's Artifact, a gun of Titan origin.
Does this mean BM Hunter will have two permanent pet's at the same time and i wonder IF it is the case would both Pet's do Kill Command? That would be awesome!
This is the Artifact weapon for Beast Mastery

BM have been my main spec since i started my hunter many many years ago. Never ever to this day have i stumbled across a gun that i liked. I have always prefered bow, even had a little time i used x-bow for a change. I dont see why not Lonewolf MM's not get the gun artifact. Those sniper models fit so much better to a MM who play without a pet and have a "snipish" gameplay rather than a BM.
I am really hoping the Mastery / Crit does not stay the same across the board. Talk about homogenization. Praying to the Titans that it is just a generic tooltip.
Still hate this gun.. I really hope we can transmog it. Supposedly there is supposed to be a crossbow looking version.... Not crazy about that either, but it may be better than a gun.
All hail the Titanstrike, powered by the glorious all-spark, er, thunderspark!
I wonder if the gun can transform into a cool Lamborghini mount?
Time to cock up ze gun for ze action. There ain't no such thing as too much gunsmen and too much guns.
Yo Bm's in the making. I found something interesting and probably useful.
This is Hati's model.
She looks just like Skoll. And yes, it is a she. To any who know about norse mythology, Skoll and Hati were brother/sister. So that's that. I know i will be running around with Skoll from now on.
Happy Hunting :D
Hunters' ranged artifacts suck balls :(
man this thing is a turd. It looks like the pvp guns that barely change each season. I don't have a preference of bow vs gun. I consistently switch it up but you can bet that i'll be xmogging. I think blizz got tunnel vision with some of the other artifacts and their customization. If a little more time was spent making the bad ones good and a little less time spent on making the good ones so customizable I think they would be spot on.
Am I missing something here?
Blizzard have stated that you can mog things onto your artefact weapon following normal transmog rules.
So you should be able to mog your favourite bows to your gun.
Besides, let's not try and act like this is a hunter-only issue. Every class and spec is being forced into specific weapon mogs. Be lucky you can at least mog the gun to look like a bow. Some specs are not getting such a freedom.
Absolutely dislike having a gun as a Hunter - especially as a Beast Master or even Survival.
On a RP level obviously Survival would never use a gun - you know, makes bow with twig and twine. With BM, you really think all the exotic and rare beasts (or really any beast) the BM hunts with would appreciate that annoying noise the gun will make every 3.6 seconds. Yeah that'll be great.
I would still dislike the gun as a Marksman too, but I guess it makes a little more sense? Heck, they can have guns and mechanicals right?
C'mon Blizz. Quit worrying about your Demons and DK's and show some love for the OG classes.
Fix this now.
This is the only gun I'd ever use and likely display as a blood elf hunter honestly.
Thing is gorgeous.
Really hoping they change the looks of this, and that these appearances are just PH because out of all the artifacts Hunters seem just... underwealming, I look at Ahsbringer, or Doom hammer and thick "Legendary weapons of heroes" I look at these and think. "Just a Generic gun hanging on the wall" I also love how The second "Apperance" change is just basicly, the same, but with a lazersight on it, wow!
This thing has more thunder buffs than thunderfury.
A GUN made by TITANS mixing MAGIC and ENGINEERING infused with the power of STORMS? This sounds like the last thing a Beastmaster (a master of beasts, a savage and primal fighter that probably dislikes civilization and walks amongst the beasts like a predator) would wield.
Titan's Reach is.... not bad. I mean I'm not in love with it, but considering it's made by the one Watcher that's
actually an engineer
, it fits.
Kinda wondering what we're drawing back, though. I'm hoping it's not some generic string, but like a mystical thread that overflows with energy.
The colour selection is a bit meh to me, would like a purple version. The red one looks like a match for the Gnomeregan banner, which some of the new Gnome hunters may like.
Heh, this is kinda like the titan solution to
Edited with some updates:
The Beast Master Challenge achievement artifact appearance is
It is a reference to Kongu's
from the fantasy/sci-fi 'hybrid' Bionicle set and comics from 2006. The power core of Serpentbite is humorously where the power button was on the original toy. The silhouette/shape of this bow mimics that of laser crossbow, and they both lack a stock. The 'barrel' of this version of the gun glows
just like the toy
and by default even has the same color.
Tl;Dr for those that weren't into these action figures:
Kongu was a beast master in a world of constructs designed by greater beings, and they eventually gained sentience similar to the Earthen or Dwarves and their relationship with the Titans. Some of these constructs were once selected to be
by being energized by lightning from their Titans. This is similar to the flavor text of Titanstrike that explains its own origins. The laser crossbow gave Kongu lightning powers, he began to take on a more reptilian appearance, and eventually he was able to summon and dismiss animals like a Warcraft hunter.
It had a
comic book series
published by DC Comics and distributed by LEGO.
where Bionicle is jokingly pointed out to be a part of the DC universe because it cameo'd in a short Green Lantern series.
Downvote if you want, but it won't mean this isn't true.
More fans of Bionicle than I expected tbh
A reference like this wasn't unlikely coming from a game company that is constantly making not-so-pop culture references to anything from
or even the most
of all things. Titanstrike itself is original enough and not a reference to Bionicle, but its hidden likely appearance is.
I have a thread running on the Legion general beta forums about the sub par quality of so many of this weapons appearances. Feel free to hop in and take a look/leave a comment. I'm hoping to keep this running till launch

It looks like a fishing pole...
If anyone figures out how to mute Hati's obnoxious looping electricity sound, please let everyone know!
If you reset your artifact weapon (the talents/traits) you DONT lose any artifact power except for the artifact power you pay for the reset!
Recorded it myself.
Maybe the handiest thing about the Titan's Reach appearance, is that along with recoloring Hati to a darker blue, it
almost completely silences the electric/static sound effect
that Hati otherwise constantly has.
Also, the little insulator-shaped things on the ends of the bow get an electric charge effect when the bow is drawn, and it shoots lightning arrows.
This Gun reminds me of Horton Hears a Who!
Garrus' sniper rifle from Mass Effect is the coolest gun ever. Why does Titanstrike look like a gun made of out an ant-eater?
Had something odd happen today, related as it is, to Hati, and the lack of ability to change back to pet's original appearance.
Was doing Mythic Mogu'shan, and as I finished up on Elegon, something happened that changed my pet back to Hati's original appearance.
So just an FYI, not sure how it happened, also not sure if it happens everytime, or even if it was because of that boss, but something removed the pet appearance back to Hati's original look.
This bugged for me today. The 1st mob inside you kill got stuck on evade which made Grif get stuck there, when I got to the vault, the event wouldn't start. You have to leave and restart the scenario if this happens to you.
Don't know if it's a bug or intended, but it seems that this skin is also unlocked if you have
as your active pet.
After I've done the artifact quest and learned that Hati and Skoll are relatives and were
's pets, I've just put into my mind that I've got to have Skoll, so I began the camping duty.
After 3 days of camping, I've finally got it, and as soon as I finished taming, Hati's appearence changed.
Right now it is a bit buggy, when you first call Skoll out, Hati comes in default appearence, but as soon as you change screens (use a portal, for example), her appearence changes.
Ylvis predicted Hati
Worth noting that Hati follows all commands given to you main pet such as Assist and passive. Excellent for working on old raid achievements!
This gun resembles a vacuum cleaner more than a killing weapon, for some reason blizzard has always failed horribly where artwork for guns is concerned. I have always carried a bow or transmogged my guns into the bow artwork,,more specifically the Ironfeather Longbow design from a quest in well of eternity and imo the best piece of weapon art in the game. I really wish blizzard would make gun artwork up to par with other weapon art or step up the quality of art and textures across the board for weapons
As an anwser for a question i myself couldn't find, the colors of Hati are different each Artifact Appearance.
Apparently nobody thought it was informative to know which one is which color, but i do!
Titanstrike (Normal Appearance):
Eaglewatch (Epic Appearance):
Elekk's Thunder (Balance of Power):
To be determined
Boarshot Cannon (PvP):
To be determined
Serpentbite (Mage Tower Challenge):

Titan's Reach (Secret Skin):
Sidenote: If you changed your artifact skin but Hati didn't change color, just unequip your artifact and equip it again.
If you liked to have two pets with you all the time, in BfA this option will no longer be baseline for BM hunters.
However, you will be able to retain the ability to have a second companion to your side thanks to
, a tier 1 talent, available at level 15.
Have you seen my
Not a gun fan - I am a Blood Elf BM. Would have been nice to have a choice.
Still have to do the quest though to get my Class Hall and Broken Isle quest lines so I will end up with a gun I wont use and cant delete.
Just when you feel like a statue, Blizz sends in the pigeons....
so i assume we can not sell this item then to any vendors?
