The presence of Winds of Wisdom is the perfect opportunity to level an alt in the opposite faction, especially for Horde players that can level their Alliance alt with the increased War Mode bonus experience that Alliance players have.

Wait... what does this mean exactly? They get more than the normal 10% bonus for War Mode?

5,000,000 gold can be spent on very different and MANY things than a single + mount and ah on it to this time vanilla + 7 expansions people live without it... to that point i dont see a single reason to spent that much gold (im not even saying of time spended to gather it) on just a mount +1...

Perhaps add the "Conqueror of Azeroth" Achivement, its a large world pvp achievment that I imagin will be much harder once everyones in shadowlands and/or leveling thought the fastest expac.

Also, might wanna move bruto to harder to achieve, as it'll be moved to the BMAH, not removed entirely. on the service medals, resupplying on the xp pots will be easy still, as service medals will still come from darkshore/arathi WQs, incursions and paragon caches

The brutosaur is getting moved to the Black Market Auction House. That is not the same as being removed.

Level alts is something but personally, I am going to wait until 9.0 since odds are there won't be much of anything to do after the first week. However the level squish would be implemented giving alts a new way to play reminiscent to Classic days. Hopefully every level will feel rewarding again. Even though I'll be missing out on the 100% experience bonus from now till 9.0.

That huge waste of time with all the essences just to realize it stayed gated behind atrocious mandatory rated PVP until the end...
I'm glad i didn't bother with the raiding :D

One thing to note with the 100% exp buff and the level squish. It was stated at Blizzcon that 1-50 in Shadowlands should take about 40% of the time for 1-110 in BFA. This seems to match up with the time that it takes with the 100% exp bonus. Likely this was a test to see how people respond to the reduced leveling time, and was clearly popular. Basically, there should not be that much difference in leveling speed in pre-patch versus current.

Not so sure about the leveling part for alt's from the SL alpha reports leveling will take waaay less come with the level squish,even less with the 100% Wisdom buff we have now.
Everything else is good.

I would add Horrific Visions and achievements connected to them Through the Depths of Visions, Mad World. Also Mail Muncher mount, many pets and transmog Illusion: Void Edge, Black Dragonscale Backpack...

Do you people know what happens to horrific visions after 9.0? Will all the mounts still be available or will for example the black serpent achievement be moved to legacy? I am just not doing enough DPS as a blood DK and i do not want to spent gold to get boosted.

More difficult:

Many random drop pets and raid BoEs will get more expensive, as very few people will do the content
Two of the alpacas (Elusive Quickhoof, Springfur Alpaca) will be harder to find as fewer people are camping for them
Dueler's Guild (and achievements), not many people will be queuing and it might get a level 120/50 restriction

Going away with prepatch:

5-masking rewards (mount and title) (prediction based upon similar mage tower, not confirmed)

Going away with Shadowlands launch:

The ability to get and level Ashjra'kamas (prediction based on other expansion legendaries)

With Older Content I would probably add 博学者.

I'm currently working on it cause I believe once the level squash happens this will be much more time consuming and harder to finish. Even at Max level now its a time sink. Also a great way to get toys, pets and mounts in old content.

You forgot one crucial thing in the guide:

The visions are going to be removed, including the mount and the backpack.

Removing the long boi is a bad decision.
-If they do it anyway, they should go all the way. Disable the auctioneer on it, for people who already acquired the mount.

Hopefully the means to get the black dragonscale backpack will stay, literally the only bag we have that doesn't requre RAF or a Vulpera.

Rank 4 essences are pointless to work towards. They are cosmetic only and attached to an item that'll get replaced halfway thru leveling.

I would add the hardmode mechagon mount possibly, and maybe the all mask achievement/title in horrific visions. I've seen nothing concrete about them taking these things away, but the mount seems similar to the karazhan dragon, and the horrific vision challenge would be trivial later if they didn't remove it.

So pvp, pvp, some more pvp, have 4 friends who care about achievements, pvp again, oh and some pvp, have 9+ friends who care about achievements, and lets not forget to pvp.

I guess I'll be leveling more alts..

I would suggest adding "Horde slayer" and "Alliance slayer" achievements here too; we don't know if bounty system will stay for shadowlands zones.

what about Azeroth's Champion title and feat of strength? -Obtaining all rank 4 essences from 8.2. (currently trying to get 2400 for the rank 4 Conflict and strife, which is the last one I need). That achievement is going away and is insanely hard!

Isn't phenomenal cosmic power technically rendered unobtainable when the pvp season ends and people are unable to earn the requisite 2400 rating required to get the essence out of the weekly cache?

If the pvp season is ending with the pre-patch, how can you obtain the C&S rank 4 essence during the pre-patch? Wouldn't it be going away like the hertz locker one?

Since essences will no longer be obtainable in shadowlands, its quite possible that essence related achievements will also go away. Stuff like 过载的精华 and 纯净心灵

Has there been any word about what's going to happen with WQ and paragon caches gold amounts? I can't recall whether they lowered the Legion ones in BFA prepatch or the expac launch.
So far I couldn't find any mention about it.

"With Battle for Azeroth ending, so those the window of opportunity to obtain the BFA Season 4 PvP Elite Sets. Those appearances are rewarded on multiple rating breakpoints, with the last pieces being unlocked at 1800 rating in any Rated PvP Bracket in BFA Season 4. Completing it will also earn you Rival: Battle for Azeroth Season 4 during BFA Season 4."

You need duelist to complete the set (to the get the cloak) so it will be a very inefficient way to transmog the set, you could piece by piece but its not gonna show up as a complete set, the problem is also they have the EXACT same name as the regular gladiator set so im not sure why this is posted at all.

You need Duelist.

I am wondering is this guide correct about the removal of "Phenomenal Cosmic Power." or is the August 18th Blue post correct about the removal in the shadowlands prepatch. Need some clarification on whether I'm wasting my life on that achievement. I also think that this guide or post is incorrect about the achievement "Conspicuous Consumption," from the Brutosaur auction mount, as you will not be able to get the achievement from the BMAH purchase, which is also in the august 18th blue post. Looking for clarification or updates to your guide, the last update was August 28th, and no changes to those two achievements have been updated.

You can scrap the Allies Races tip though. The new leveling system if impemented correctly is way faster.
