Flame Jets turn this simple hallway into a gauntlet
Notable Trash Mobs
There is a single trash mob in the hallway leading to the Crucible -

. However, the hallway itself is dangerous; it is lined with

that will deal very heavy damage to players passing through. The
烈焰喷射
activate in a sequence, and players must pull the Forgemistress through the hallway to keep ahead of the flames, or risk being cut off from the rest of the raid, unable to receive heals or deal damage.
Approximately every 20 seconds, Flamehand will afflict 2-3 random targets with
有生烈焰
. This debuff does not damage the player it's on, but deals heavy Fire damage to nearby players. The affected players should move to one side of the hallway, while the rest of the raid stands on the other side, to avoid splashing damage onto the raid.
Note that
有生烈焰
prefers players at range, but nothing prevents it from targeting a melee or tank who is standing far away from the boss (if, for example, they got separated from the raid by the
烈焰喷射
).
Forgemistress Flamehand attacks tanks with
燃烧
. Tanks should swap tanking duties after 8 stacks.

Blackhand Tips & Strategy
Blackhand is a three-phase encounter that is primarily single-target, with one phase having important adds that must be burst down. The fight requires raid awareness, moderate to heavy movement, and quick execution of key mechanics by randomly-chosen members of the raid.
Marked for Death targets gain a red skull & arrowYellow arrows indicate direction of Impaling ThrowBlackhand will use a few basic abilities during every phase of the encounter; the way in which players must respond to these abilities changes slightly in each phase.

Molten Slag slowly fills the room in Phase 1
Phase 1
Phase 1 takes place in The Crucible, and persists until Blackhand reaches 70% health.

This serves as a soft enrage mechanic on the first phase; players must push Blackhand below 70% health before running out of space

Phase 2
When Blackhand reaches 70% health, he will drop an

Siegemakers create Blaze if not killed quicklyShortly after entering this phase, and once every 50 seconds thereafter, Blackhand will call on a

The assigned kiter(s) must watch for a set of gates to open and quickly move into position to bait the

On the balcony, kill & interrupt Iron SoldiersAs Phase 2 progresses,

s will appear on the balcony, firing

at random targets.
Ranged DPS and healers should spread out during this phase to avoid splashing

Note that the direction these players will be propelled depends upon their position relative to the tank, not the boss; aim at the appropriate balcony
Assign a handful of DPS and a healer to go up each time
Strong 3-target cleave or multi-DoT classes are preferred, but sending ranged DPS is tricky because they can be targeted by

while on, or preparing to go up to, the balcony
These players should kill as many Iron Soldiers as possible
Players can also interrupt

to prevent raid damage
Players on the balcony will gain stacks of

When Blackhand reaches 30% health, Phase 3 will begin. Players will first take heavy damage from

, and are then transported to the Iron Crucible. The remainder of the fight takes place on a large platform that is

, dealing unavoidable Fire damage to all players in the raid every second.
Detonate Slag Bomb on the edge of the platformDuring this final phase, all of Blackhand's abilities are empowered with new functionality.

will now pass through all objects in its path, damaging every player it passes through, and it also gains a powerful knockback effect.
Players have no obstacles behind which to LOS the

Blackhand will regain energy after using Massive Shattering Smash if it fails to hit at least 4 targets.
While the wording of this post makes it unclear whether this mechanic is actually live yet, it's a good idea to split the Massive Shattering Smash damage anyway, so I've thrown this into the guide already to further encourage players to do it the "proper way". :)

One thing I found out is that the Siegemaker in phase 2, will always target the closest person when it spawns. This could be used, to place a dps with high mobility closest to it

I just started raiding on my hunter again as a dwarf and rarely had impale on me. upon reflection, i wondered if stoneform can remove the impaled debuff.
has anyone tested this?
also, i think my pet doesnt come up with me to the stands thus i went MM or SV for the fight. I felt that MM with Killshot 15% instant heal on killing blows helped me stay up longer than SV's survivor 15% heal over time.
is there a way to bring out pet up? dismiss then resummon or master's call? i didnt try the first but i think when attempting master's call, it said: No path available.
i was also miffed that every 2 - 3 marks of death had me selected as i waited to get shattering smashed up to the stands... anyone has a good idea how to handle this? i disengage and cheetah asap to the tank but it means i will definitely miss going up the stands
has anyone tested whether deterance will allow you to be shattering smashed up to the stands if you face the boss? or having your back to the boss with deterance up?
i absolutely hate going up the stands with 20% hp left but in the heat of battle, did not test them yet.

So as far as I have seen from the video, there are those differences:
In each Demolition spam there will be 4

instead of 3 in Normal/Heroic.

will target 3 players instead of 2 in Normal/Heroic.
Siegemakers in P2 will have extra powers:

-Has more HP than normal siegemaker.
爆破攻城战神坦克
-Carries bombs that will explode 5 seconds after it dies.
增压攻城战神坦克
-Moves faster than normal siegemaker.
烈焰攻城战神坦克
-Leaves fire behind its path.
The cycle of Siegemaker attributes will always be Reinforced->Explosive->Supercharged->Fiery.
I don't know if the attribute sequence is completely random or not, but it seems the attribute comes in a cycle of four, so the fifth Siegemaker should have same attribute as the first one.
In P3 there are falling Debris that will fall on the ground. If it hits the ground without any player catching it, a Slag Hole will form, which will become an aoe area after Slag Eruption. This needs to be dealt by hunters/mages/shadow priests/paladin's

After finally getting this mean ol' orc down on heroic, one of our raiders made a lovely discovery about how this boss's Shattering Smash ability works. While most guides will tell you that Shattering Smash's knockback is in relation to the position of the center of the circle, they don't tell you how the tank gets knocked back. The tank is
not
knocked back in relation to Blackhand.
They will be knocked back in relation to where their back is facing.
What that means is that, if you point your back towards Blackhand (normally a big no-no), you'd be sent flying right through him instead.
This is true for all phases of Blackhand, and on all difficulties as far as I know. So, you might be wondering, how does that relate to fighting this boss? Well, we came up with an alternate strategy in Phase 3 to reduce the risk associated with spears. Rather than facing the boss inward, with all the applicable raid members stacking behind the tank, you will be facing the boss on the outside of the ring, with raid members between the tank and Blackhand. When Massive Shattering Smash comes through, the tank needs to quickly turn their back to the boss so they don't get knocked off the platform.
The biggest benefit of this approach is that spears have much less chance for overlap into the smash soaking group. It also gives slightly more real estate in P3, and results in a slightly closer knockback. The only major downside is that your tank needs to be quick and paying attention in this phase. If they fail to turn their back to the boss, it'll likely be a wipe.
tl;dr version: The tank is knocked back in the direction of their own back in shattering smash.

As of this weekend (1May15) Blackhand's Shattering Smash started hitting me (iLvl 670 Pro Paladin) for 403K after mitigation in phase 1 of the LFR.
I think the recent 5MAY15 Hot Fix solved the mystery - it fixed an issue that was causing Blackhand's Slag Bombs to incorrectly explode instantly and the Slagged debuff to incorrectly persist on a character.
