灭敌死神50型
Mechanical 首领 - No Backline Pets
Abilities: 铁拳, 增压, 熔流

Recommended strategy:
This fight can easily be soloed by 熊猫人火灵 (1,1,2), 繁花古树 (2,2,2), 熊猫人水灵 (1,2,2) or by any other pet in the Elemental family that does high Elemental damage.

Important: Your backline pets will take aoe damage because of 熔流 so make sure to use random pets that are of no importance for future fights.

Undead 精英 - 2 Backline Pets
Abilities: 凋零缠绕, 幽魂之咬, 生命虹吸

Recommended strategies:
1. warcraftmommy suggests any kind of 兔子 (2,2,2) for the first pet.
Use 躲闪 first, followed by 奔踏 to whittle down its health and give him a damage taken debuff. Follow it up with 1-2 乱舞 or 抓挠 then cleanup with other pets.

2. Turtles (such as 绿松乌龟) (1,1,2) with 强力球 are helpful for both boss and backline pets.
Take 甲壳护盾 to negate critter stampede attack from the backline pets. This can take a while, so an alternate strategy might be more to your liking.

愤怒的晶簇
Elemental 精英 - 2 Backline Pets
Abilities: 燃烧, 石肤术, 水晶牢笼

Recommended strategies:
1. 拉帕纳海螺 (2,2,1) or any other Snail can solo this battle.
Critters are immune to the stun from 水晶牢笼 and their shield combined with the heal from 吸收 makes it quite easy to end the fight at full HP.

2. Thumbscrew suggests to use any kind of pet with the 抽水 ability.
Simply spam 抽水 repeatedly until the Angry Geode is dead then cleanup with your other pets.

挖矿的猴子
Beast 精英 - 2 Backline Pets
Abilities: 贯日突, 发疯！, 香蕉弹幕

Recommended strategies:
1. Use a fast Mechanical pet with speed higher than 289 such as 锯齿迅猛龙 (2,1,1), 解除武装的机甲伙伴 (1,1,1), 小布 (1,2,1), 火箭鸡 (1,2,2), or 飞天切割者 (2,1,1)

2. warcraftmommy suggests to use 展览馆管理员 (1,1,1)
Simply spam 锁定打击 until the monkey dies. If you get some unlucky banana crits, you may have to finish off the monkey with one of your cleanup pets.

“船长”克鲁兹
Humanoid 首领 - No Backline Pets
Abilities: 撞击, 痛殴, 巨人之血

Recommended strategies:
1. Use 幼年瓦格里 (1,2,1) as your first pet.
Pass the first turn (due to stun) then 厄运诅咒, then 鬼影缠身.
Switch to and 伊奇 (1,1,1) to 黑爪 then 群殴 to quickly melt him!

2. If you do not have those two pets here are some alternatives:
幼年瓦格里 can be replaced by 阴森的基德 - Use 虚无之界 first turn and then 鬼影缠身
伊奇 can be replaced by any pet with 黑爪 and a stampede type move such as 赞达拉撕踝者 or 赞达拉袭胫者

克鲁兹的战鼠
Critter 精英 - 2 Backline Pets
Abilities Are: 抓挠, 发射火箭, 蝇群

Use the same strategy that you used for the previous boss.
1. Use 幼年瓦格里 (1,2,1) as your first pet.
Pass the first turn (due to stun) then 厄运诅咒, then 鬼影缠身.
Switch to and 伊奇 (1,1,1) to 黑爪 then 群殴 to quickly melt him!

2. If you do not have those two pets here are some alternatives:
幼年瓦格里 can be replaced by 阴森的基德 - Use 虚无之界 first turn and then 鬼影缠身

Recommended strategies:
1. Use 符文熔铸侍从 (2,2,1) as your first pet.
旋紧发条 - 增压 - 旋紧发条 should 1-shot the monkey.
If not then kill him with one of your cleanup pets.
钢铁星弹 is a good replacement if you don't have 符文熔铸侍从

2. Thumbscrew suggests to use 暗月坦克 (1,1,2).
Use 震慑, spam 飞弹 and finish the monkey with 离子炮
Cleanup with your other pets.

Flying 精英 - 2 Backline Pets
Abilities: 切削之风, 鹰眼, 飓风

Recommended strategies:
1. 节点雏龙 (2,2,2) can almost solo this fight!
Use 奥术风暴 then 法力澎湃 and fill in with 冰霜吐息 while everything else is on cooldown.

2. 梦境龙宝宝 (1,2,2) and 虚空精灵龙 (2,1,1) are good replacements if you don't have 节点雏龙

Magic 首领 - No Backline Pets
Abilities: 软泥之触, 喂食, 进食昏迷

Recommended strategies:
1. Aranesh suggests to use 机械熊猫人幼龙 and 恐爪鸟幼崽
Use 诱饵 then 雷霆之箭 and fill in with 吐息 while everything else is on cooldown.
Usually the Dragonling manages on its own, but if you need the Teroclaw Hatchling then 躲闪 and 空袭 should take care of that.

2. If your pets from round 5 are still alive and have about 50% health then you can use them again but make sure to pick a strong third pet.
Start out with your third pet because 曲奇的剩菜 will sleep it for 2 rounds.
Now switch to 幼年瓦格里, use 厄运诅咒 and then 鬼影缠身.
Swap to a pet with 黑爪, use 黑爪 and then use its stampede type move.
Cleanup with your third pet if necessary.

These are the pets I used for the Deadmines Pet Dungeon. Named pets can be replaced with any other strong pets of the same family.

Water Waveling (can solo the fight)

Quick guide I wrote up for guildies that uses common pets.

For the final battle with Cookies Leftovers, try using Onyxian Whelpling with 2/2/2. Use Scorched Earth, because it will break you out of Sleep the same turn Cookies Leftovers uses it. Any similar ability will do the trick. After that, you can Deep Breath for major damage. Follow up with Zandalari Anklerender, hit Black Claw, then Hunting Party. Cookies Leftovers is dead.

A couple of things that are missing from this guide that should be included and corrections:
- This is something once a week per account. Not a shocker, but should be noted.
- The opening quest and associated port are once per account.
- You CANNOT heal your pets during the the actual Scenario, but you CAN heal your pets during the introductory quest.
- I was NOT awarded a mining monkey OR a old bottle cap for completing the initial quest as was implied in this guide.
- The mining monkey is an additional reward for completing it the second time (The first time as a daily quest).
- On Klutz's Battle Bird, I used Nexus Whelpling (1,2,2) instead of (2,2,2) because this set up is better for back pets where you use it.
- I have had my Unborn Val'kyr die each time before getting to Cookies Leftovers. I suggest preparing for that, I have a second so it was not a problem.
- The currency is listed as "coins" when it should be "caps" in the rewards section, just to clear any confusion, they are referring to the same currency.

I'm a little disappointed in this pet battle dungeon in hindsight. You can eat up all the rewards and prizes in seven weeks. But after that there aren't any prizes or currency to win. That's frustrating. Let us keep getting other rewards and not just bottle caps. I love pet battle dungeons but not when I run out of rewards at week seven entirely.

Lil' XT (1,2,2) absolutely destroys the Mining Monkey fight (Stage 3). Start /w Heartbroken then Tantrum and the fight is pretty much over.

Good guide. What worked like a charm for me was to have 心火小鬼 with 1,1,1 as a 1st pet in every battle and mitigate some damage with it and then throw it in the back with 自燃 on so it could heal up.

I'm using an alt, lvl 43 Warrior and they give me the port to get to the deadmines NPC but there is no quest above the NPC head. I have completed this on my main toon and a few level 110+ toons. Just make sure you are using atleast a 100+ toon to get the quest.

I am using moth(s) as backup pets, they work very well in this environment against backline pets.

If you log out and heal with another character, when you log back in, you have to start the instance over.

As 9.0.1 All of this strats still work. This might the easiest pet dungeon with W.Caverns.

Healing pets loggin another character and using bandages still works btw. If its says its "locked" just relog and try again with the same alt that has the bandages.

I completed the Dungeon quest and received rewards, however did not receive the achievement? or the Mining Monkey.

Just so everyone knows, you have to complete the first heroic to get the Achievement and the mining monkey pet.

For Captain Klutz I have found the following is an easy alternative to the Unborn Val'kyr Strategy:

First Pet - Voodoo Figurine - Shadow Slash, Wild Magic, Rot.
Second Pet - Any Critter with Scratch, Flurry, Stampede
Third Pet - Any Critter with Scratch, Flurry, Stampede
NOTE: I used two critters with higher attacks, just so they did better damage.
(Highland Mouse and most variants of Rats for example)

1. Start with Voodoo Figurine
2. Use Wild Magic
3. Use Shadow Slash until next move will kill Voodoo Figurine
4. Use Wild Magic - Voodoo Figurine dies and resurrects
5. Use Rot.
6. Bring in either critter
7. Use stampede until Klutz is dead.

As long as Voodoo Figurine uses Rot on its resurrection phase the other attacks used by it are not detrimental.
You may need the third pet but since Klutz takes damage as an unread pet due to Rot he dies very quickly.

Hope this makes the Deadmines a bit easier for you all :)
