This guide provides tips and strategies for defeating the

encounter on Mythic Difficulty in Sanctum of Domination. This guide assumes you’re familiar with the Heroic version of the encounter, and focuses mainly on Mythic changes in strategy.
Normal and Heroic Sylvanas Guide
Mythic Sylvanas Changes
This encounter has several Mythic only changes, alongside a few changes to abilities present in Heroic.
The radius of
黑暗帷幕
, and
女妖哀嚎
is larger in both Phase One and Phase Two, compared to Heroic.
Domination Arrows in Phase One will appear in two distinct camps, rather than scattered throughout the encounter area. In the Intermission, the Domination Arrows will appear in five separate camps.
Running into a Domination Arrow that a player is chained to will trigger
灾祸
, which will now kill players within 30 yards, instead of just the player with the chain.
Being targeted by a Domination Chain will apply a stack of
悲哀
, which will deal damage each time the player is targeted by another Domination Chain. This means that in the Intermission, the whole raid will take a large burst of damage at the beginning of the phase.
Phase One also introduces the
黑蚀箭
ability, which functions similarly to
哀恸箭
in Phase Three, with the added mechanic of spawning
Dark Sentinel
that fixate random players and deal a large amount of damage to them if they reach them.
During the Intermission,
劈裂
will be empowered and will cast several
劈裂
n Debris at players instead of just a single one per cast.
In Phase Two each time a bridge is cast there will be two paths that can be taken, requiring the raid to split in half to deal with the adds on each side. On the third platform a Mawforged Colossus will appear, which is a Mythic only type of add.
In Phase Three there are two new important abilities, which are
死亡飞刀
and
无情
. Unlike Heroic,
死亡飞刀
will be centered on players instead of the boss, and apply a deadly dot to any players struck.
无情
is a soak mechanic that will periodically spawn 2 - 4 circles on the platform that need to be stood in, otherwise they kill the raid.
Mythic Sylvanas Phase One Strategy
Due to the way
希尔瓦娜斯·风行者
moves in this phase, it is important that the raid positions, and baits the
黑暗帷幕
correctly. This is because each set of Domination Arrows have set spawn locations in this phase, which means that if the boss disengages to the incorrect location during
统御锁链
, it will mean that the whole raid will have to move to adapt to it.
统御锁链
will be cast at 0:35, 1:30, and 2:30 during this phase. For the first set, the boss should naturally jump between the two sets. For the second and third sets, the boss will need to be baited to the correct location for her
黑暗帷幕
cast.
黑暗帷幕
will always target the largest group of stacked players. Assuming all melee dps and tanks are stacked, make sure you have 11 people standing on the bait spot for
黑暗帷幕
to ensure
希尔瓦娜斯·风行者
will always target that location.
Veil of Darkness bait locations.
For the first
黑暗帷幕
cast, utilize the Demonic gateway shown in the diagram, then use a movement speed increase to run out of it. For the second
黑暗帷幕
, stand exactly halfway between the two sets of Domination Arrows that are active at that time. For the third, the ranged dps can one again use a Demonic Gateway to get into position.
The fourth
黑暗帷幕
will happen right before the phase transition, and can be baited anywhere in the room. We recommend standing somewhat away from the stack location to avoid unnecessary movement.
You should utilize a WeakAura, or static assignments for dealing with
统御锁链
in Phase One. Players with 2 - 3 or more stacks of
倒刺之箭
should always have priority at being targeted by
统御锁链
to remove their debuffs.
黑蚀箭
will ramp up through this phase, and will target an extra person each time it is cast. One tank will always be targeted by
黑蚀箭
.
Dark Sentinel
will fixate random players, so make sure they are funneled in a line, and crowd controlled by things like Gorefiend’s Grasp, Ring of Frost, Blizzard, etc. Fixated players should stay away from the Dark Sentinel that is targeting them.
Black Arrow set 2 and 3 positions.
The ideal push timing to the Intermission will be right after the fourth
黑暗帷幕
cast is complete. We recommend stopping damage early if your raid is in danger of pushing the boss to 43.9% too early. We generally want the boss at 44.1% when she begins casting the fourth
黑暗帷幕
.
Mythic Sylvanas Intermission Strategy
At the beginning of the intermission the whole raid should stack up to make use of raid cooldowns for the burst of damage caused by the stacks of
悲哀
.
After each player is chained, dps players can spread out to deal with each clump of Domination Arrows before stacks get too high.
We recommend using personal cooldowns and Healing Potions if stacks of
统御锁链
ever exceed 4.
Mythic Sylvanas Phase Two Strategy
The strategy of this phase will depend on which side players are assigned to, as outline below.
Each Mawforged add will gain an additional ability on Mythic difficulty.
渊铸召唤师
s will also summon a
恐惧宝珠
, which will fear all nearby players unless it is interrupted.
渊铸判魂者
s will apply
蔑视光环
to nearby players, reducing their damage done.
渊铸哥利亚
s will cause their nearby ally to deal additional shadow damage.
The raid will merge on the second, and fourth platform for boss burn phases.
During each boss burn phase,
希尔瓦娜斯·风行者
will repeat the same sequence of abilities.
This sequence is

. The raid should group near the boss before
黑暗帷幕
is cast, and utilize a Demonic Gateway to move out of it after the first indication appears.
We recommend using a Stampeding Roar or a Wind-Rush Totem each time the raid has to move to a new platform, as the travel time can be significantly reduced by increased movement speed.
Assign groups to split for platforms 1 and 3. On split 1 there should be one tank, two healers, and an equal split of dps on each side.
On split 2, there should be one tank, one healer, and strong single target dps and hybrid classes on the left side. We recommend sending 8 players to left side, while the rest of the raid goes on right side.
If
恐惧压迫
is ever doing double damage to a player on the right side, it means there are not enough ranged targets. In this case make sure to swap a melee with a ranged dps for the right side.
黑暗帷幕
will be cast once per platform, and it is crucial that players move out of it by using their own mobility on platforms 1 and 3.
Platform 2 positioning before Veil of Darkness. Mirror this positioning on Platform 4.
Left
The first Left platform will have A
渊铸判魂者
and a
渊铸哥利亚
.
The
渊铸判魂者
should be the higher priority target, after which the
渊铸哥利亚
can be finished.
A DPS or a Holy Paladin should taunt the
渊铸哥利亚
when it reaches ~13 stacks of Fury to reset its stacks.
The third platform will have a Mawforged Colossus, which is the Mythic only add. This add will deal frontal damage, and periodically apply
驱逐
on a random player.
The raid should be stacked behind the Mawforged Collossus to avoid taking damage from
污秽
, and to split the damage taken by
驱逐
.
Right
The first Right platform will consist of a
渊铸召唤师
and a
渊铸哥利亚
.
Kill the
渊铸召唤师
before it completes its second cast of
黑暗交融
, after which the
渊铸哥利亚
can be finished.
A DPS or a Holy Paladin should taunt the
渊铸哥利亚
when it reaches ~13 stacks of Fury to reset its stacks.
The third platform will consist of a
渊铸召唤师
and a
渊铸判魂者
. Once again, make sure the
渊铸召唤师
is finished before its second cast of
黑暗交融
, after which the
渊铸判魂者
can be finished.
Mythic Sylvanas Phase 3 Sylvanas
For Phase Three, ensure that all players have assigned locations to spread during
黑暗帷幕
. We use a diagram like the one below to assign locations.
Veil of Darkness spread assignments.
Location 5, and 11 should be assigned to Warlocks or Druids, as those are frequent spots for
无情
soaks.
Since managing
女妖的灾厄
is largely the tanks job, there will be a more detailed explanation in the Tank section.
The first platform is fairly easy, as it will only consist of
黑暗帷幕
>
女妖之怒
>
破城箭
. The purpose of this platform is to clear all other platforms of
女妖的灾厄
stacks and dispel them onto Platform 1.
After the first
黑暗帷幕
is cast, send a healer or DPS to Platform 2 to collect all
女妖的灾厄
stacks and bring them back to be dispelled on Platform 1.
Platform 2 will start with a set of
哀恸箭
s, during which the first and second targets can simply jump to Platform 3 one after the other, however the third target must run all the way to Platform 4 and wait until their
哀恸箭
is done. This is due to a set of
无情
soaks happening on Platform 3 during this time.
First Wailing Arrow set on Platform 2.
This is also where the raid will see the first set of
死亡飞刀
. Our rule for dealing with these is for the targeted players to move away from other lines in the first 2 - 3 seconds of the debuff, then stop moving and allow the rest of the raid to adjust around them.
This platform is also where the raid gets introduced to the
无情
ability. On this platform only 2 soak circles will appear, generally on the outside edge of the platform.
The boss will cast all her abilities, besides
女妖之怒
, two times before casting
破城箭
. During the second set of
哀恸箭
s, all three targets can simply take turns jumping to Platform 3. The third target should wait on Platform 3 until the
黑暗帷幕
cast is complete before jumping back to the raid.
Platform 3 will be mostly the same as Platform 2, with the added difficulty that
无情
will now spawn 4 soak circles. If these ever overlap, or are in puddles, make sure to use immunities to stand in them.
哀恸箭
s during this platform can simply take turns jumping to Platform 4.
About 10 seconds before
破城箭
is cast, send a mobile and tanky dps player to Platform 4 to clear all
女妖的灾厄
puddles from it and bring it back to Platform 3 for a dispel.
Platform 4 is mechanically easier than the other ones, because
无情
will never be cast on this platform, however the raid will have to deal with two sets of
哀恸箭
s in a tight space.
For the first set of
哀恸箭
the raid should stack in a corner of the platform, and place a Demonic Gateway to the opposite corner for
哀恸箭
targets to go to.
After the
黑暗帷幕
cast, the raid should stack on the inner corner (the one with the Covenant symbol on it, and set up a Demonic Gateway leading to the opposite corner for
哀恸箭
s.
Wailing Arrows on Platform 4.
After the second set of
哀恸箭
s and
死亡飞刀
, the boss will cast a final
女妖之怒
before casting
破城箭
.
The encounter ends when the boss reaches 44.7% health.
Mythic Sylvanas Tips and Tricks
Phial of Serenity, immunities, and Blessing of Protection can be used to remove
倒刺之箭
stacks in Phase One.
Dark Sentinel
will only fixate each player once. This means if you were fixated on the first or second set, you will never be fixated on the other one.
Having players with Decurse can be useful on platforms with
渊铸判魂者
s in Phase Two.
During Phase Two,
索命妖魂
patterns are constant. If you find a safe route through them, make sure to memorize it since it will always be a safe route.
女妖的灾厄
stacks will not apply to players while they are immune to magic effects, so they can stand in
无情
soaks without picking up puddles.
女妖的灾厄
has a forgiveness timer after being dispelled from a player which will prevent any other players from picking up the puddle for about 2 seconds. This means that if you are struggling with tanks making it out of the corner where they dropped
女妖的灾厄
, or other players picking up the puddles for the
女妖之怒
cast, they can instead be dispelled right before the
女妖之怒
cast is complete.
DPS
Cooldowns during Phase One can be used depending on your raid’s pain points during progression. If you are ahead on boss damage, we recommend using the first set of cooldowns on the boss, but then delaying further uses for
统御锁链
.
Assign a couple cooldowns to the Intermission to deal with the chains quickly. 3 minute and 1 minute cooldowns are great for this.
In Phase 2 make sure you have cooldowns assigned for platforms 1, and 3. Platforms are spaced about 50 seconds apart.
During progression over commit cooldowns to platforms 1, and 3, then after learning the whole encounter some can be allocated for boss damage as needed.
Make sure to keep an eye on
黑暗帷幕
and
破城箭
casts when using cooldowns in Phase Three.
Time Warp should be used on pull in Phase One, and after the boss casts
黑暗帷幕
on Platform 4 in Phase Three.
Healer
In Phase One
倒刺之箭
will be the biggest source of constant damage through the fight. Make sure to utilize Kyrian potions, immunities, and BoPs to clear stacks towards the end of the phase when stacks tend to be higher.
暗影匕首
will be periodically applied to players, which does a large amount of damage, but should generally be healed through without major healing cooldowns required.
黑蚀箭
set 2 and 3 will be the highest point of burst damage that the whole raid will take. Make sure there are at least 2 healing cooldowns assigned to keep the raid healthy.
At the beginning of the Intermission your raid should have a few damage reduction and throughput cooldowns to survive the initial damage caused by
悲哀
.
Once
劈裂
casts are over it is possible to get a full mana potion channel off while
女妖哀嚎
is cast.
In Phase Two
暗影匕首
s will be cast more frequently which will amount to about a third of the damage taken by the raid the entire phase.
The raid should have healing cooldowns assigned for each platform with an emphasis on platforms 1, and 3, which tend to be the most dangerous ones.
Players who take stacks of
索命妖魂
will take significantly more damage for the duration of the dot, requiring spot healing.
During Phase Three there will be several abilities that deal a significant amount of damage.
女妖之怒
will be cast 1 or 2 times per platform, and will require at least one raid cooldown to survive. There will be a total of 6 casts spaced about 1 minute apart.
Tanks, or any players with
女妖的灾厄
stacks, should be dispelled towards the end of the
女妖之怒
cast to ensure no one else picks them up.
哀恸箭
is the second ability that will require healing cooldowns to survive, especially towards the end of the encounter. There will be 5 sets, spaced about 1 minute apart.
凋零射击
will also deal a lot of damage to the raid, however it is spaced out enough that healing cooldowns should not be required to survive.
Lastly,
黑暗帷幕
will apply the healing absorb to players who are hit. Making sure those players have their absorb healed off quickly is critical for them to survive other mechanics that happen shortly after
黑暗帷幕
cast.
Tank
Phase One tanking is fairly straightforward, and will be very similar to Heroic. Taunt after
女妖的印记
debuffs are applied to the current tank.
女妖的印记
stacks can be mitigated by spells like Spell Reflect and Anti-Magic Shell to reduce some of the damage taken.
During Phase Two make sure you have tanks assigned to each side. It isn’t too important which tank goes to which side, just keep it consistent.
Adds on platform 1, and 3 should be tanked around the center of the platform to give players space to dodge
黑暗帷幕
in either direction.
On platform 3 left side, make sure the Colossus is faced away from the group.
For platforms 2, and 4, the tank whose side finished first should take aggro to avoid being hit with Ranger Shot for being out of melee range.
In Phase Three there are two dedicated tank roles. One tank will be in charge of clearing far platforms, while the other tank will generally clear the current platform the raid is on and will have boss aggro for the most part. I will refer to the tank who clears other platforms as the Off tank, and the one who stays with the boss as the Main tank.
When Phase Three starts, the Off tank should get a movement speed increase, such as a Tiger’s Lust and jump to Platform 4, and 3. Platform 3 should be fully cleared, then Platform 4 should be mostly cleared before jumping back to Platform 1. Stay in the corner closest to where you landed to be dispelled before the
女妖之怒
cast is complete.
While the Off tank is clearing the far platforms, there will be puddles that appear on Platform 1 which should be picked up by the main tank and held on to until
女妖之怒
. We recommend the main tank to always get dispelled in the corner furthest from the center.
On Platform 2 the main tank should pick up and hold stacks on the platform before the
黑暗帷幕
is cast, then be dispelled in the corner. When the second
哀恸箭
is cast, the off tank should jump to Platform 3 and clear it quickly before jumping back to Platform 2 to be dispelled.
On Platform 3 the off tank should jump to Platform 4 as soon as
哀恸箭
is applied to them and quickly clear it of stacks before the second person jumps to the same platform.
On Platform 4 stacks should only be picked up to make space to spread for the
黑暗帷幕
. When being dispelled make sure to keep the inside and outside corners clear for players to take
哀恸箭
s to.
