New to 6.1: complete the daily dungeon quest available at a Level 3 Town Hall. This rewards 5 要塞物资.

You naturally accumulate 要塞物资 over time, which can be looted from a chest next to your Town Hall. This is capped at 500 resources, and can be expanded to 1000 resources via 贸易协定：鸦人流亡者.

Most rares drop 要塞物资 every time you kill them. Some also drop items like 冰母奶酪 which create 要塞物资. See our exploration guides listed below for more information.

Many Garrison Missions reward Garrison Resources. You can see a complete list of Missions that reward resources in our Database. You can increase the amount of Resources from missions by utilizing followers with 拾荒者--multiple followers can have this trait on the same mission. is nerfed in 6.1 and rewards 100% increased Resources, down from 200%.

Your 伐木场等级3 can provide additional 要塞物资. This building grants you the ability to chop down trees around Draenor--10 木料 creates one Work Order for 30 要塞物资.

You can build a 伐木场等级1 when you have completed questing in Gorgrond or have hit 92. You can increase the amount of 要塞物资 per work order if you obtain 长青的菲拉克 after reaching 伐木场等级3.

Your 货栈等级1 allows you to trade herbs, ore and skins for additional Garrison Resources. The trade is done in the form of Work Orders, which change the required "currency" daily, and award 30 resources for 5 of either a herb, an ore, or a skin.

闪光之池s also have a chance to reward Garrison Resources, as do many lootable items around the world and in your garrison itself -- work orders for example.

In 6.2, the 食人魔的困境 mission rewards 巨大的食人魔箱子, which can be sold on the AH.

I feel like the ability to submit work orders for the trading post should be added to 'ways to get resources'. Yeah it takes crafting reagents to do, but it's a way to get them!

You should mention using and hiring followers with the scavenger trait at the inn on resource missions. Yields 100-150 each and on rare missions can yield 300 resources which all together can get you 1000 resources on a good day and 500 on an average day whether you have 1 or 3 scavengers in your roster. Spamming missions to reveal resource missions wouldn't be costly either. Though some may be very unlucky and never get a follower with the trait, which is why you hire one at the inn and level it up.

Blook is a follower with the Scavenger trait that is very easy to get in Gorgrond. His other trait, Combat Experience, is also very good making him a definite part of my final team.

It says you get varying amount of resources everytime you kill a rare, but I've only got them the first time for all low level rares and havent seen any for the 100+ rares. Working as intended or a bug?

Hey! I'm not sure how you guys feel about addons for WoW, but I was watching a youtube video last night about garrys(garrison's) as I call them lol, Anywho, I found that thse two addon's are extremely helpful.

"Handy Notes" for your maps. This addon is intended to be a small and simple replacement for Cartographer_Notes and functions in a similar manner.

"Garrison Mission Manager" This addon assists you with selecting best team for garrison missions. It adds 3 butons on mission page with top 3 suggestions. Clicking any of those button sets suggested team. Each button will show you success rate along with icons for XP bonus, GR bonus, and reduced time.

"Master Plan" modifies some aspects of the Garrison Missions UI to make it easier to figure out what you want to do; see below for details.

Available Missions Tab

Missions can be sorted by mission level, duration, chance of success, or expected follower XP gain.
Threats (and number of followers required) are displayed directly on the mission rows.
Threat borders change based on follower availability: green threats can be countered by idle followers, orange threats can be partially countered by idle followers, while blue threats can only be countered by followers currently on missions, and red threats not at all.
Hovering over the threat icons displays a list of followers capable of countering the threat and their current status.
Amount of awarded bonus follower XP, gold, and reward item levels are displayed directly on the reward buttons.
Mission detail page
Follower list is sorted such that followers with relevant abilities appear on top of the list.
Hovering over the mission threat icons displays a list of followers capable of countering the threat and their current status; clicking the threat icons searches for followers who can counter that threat.
You can double-click the follower portraits in the follower list to add/remove that follower from the party.
Closing the mission page using the minimize button, or navigating away from the tab will save the current party as a tentative party.
If you return to the mission before closing the Garrison UI, the tentative party will be there waiting.
In other missions, the tentative party members appear with a "In Tentative Party" status. You can still add them to another mission by right-clicking them and selecting "Add to party", though doing this dissolves the tentative party they were in.
Followers that are currently away on mission display the remaining mission time in their status.
You can click the LFG eye to have Master Plan suggest a party.
If you've already filled some mission slots it can also complete the party for you.
The "Pending: X/Y hours" label indicates that the mission has been in available to you for at least X hours, and is typically available for Y hours.

Active Missions Tab

The Active Missions tab is moved to the bottom of the Garrison Mission UI, allowing you to navigate to it directly from the Followers tab.
Active Missions list is sorted such that missions that complete sooner appear on top.
Mission Completion UI
The Garrison Missions Report screen now shows which missions are completed, their success probabilities, and a summary of their rewards.
You may close the Garrison Mission Report without completing the missions if you so wish. You can open it again by visiting the Active Missions tab.
Master Plan can expedite mission completion, allowing you to complete all missions in one click.
You can click specific mission rows in the Mission Report to complete those missions manually, watching the follower animation and clicking bonus chests.
You can hold ALT while clicking "Complete Missions" to complete all missions using the default UI.
You can uncheck "Expedited mission completion" to make using the default UI to complete missions the default behavior when clicking "Complete Missions".
For missions completed using Master Plan's expedited completion, a summary of follower XP, levels, and loot gained (including salvage) will be displayed at the end of the mission report.

Followers Tab

A summary of all primary threats and follower traits is shown at the top of the followers tab, allowing you to quickly see which counters you have access to. Hovering over the icons reveals the status of followers with the relevant abilities; clicking the icons searches for other followers who can counter that threat.
This summary is also displayed in the Followers tab of the Garrison Report, for when the nearest Command Table is just too far away.
You can upgrade your followers' gear by clicking on the Weapon/Armor slots and selecting the desired upgrade item, without having to open your bags.
Followers that are currently away on mission display the remaining mission time in their status.

Well, there it is...I basically just copied the notes from the Addon's Description, but put it into a way that it is easier to read for everyone. I get my Addons from www.curse.com, download the curse client if you don't have it already, it installs addon's for you, keeps track of them, allows u to update them right from the application on your computer. It's great. That is if you are a addon person, which I know alot of people are. I tried to take the time to make this nice and neat and understandable, hope it helps!

Please note that the Trading Post awards 30 garrison resources instead of 20.

The Lumber Mill generates 30 only if Phylarch the Evergreen is assigned to work there. Therefore the Trading Post is superior because it doesn't waste a follower slot and it has other advantages that the Lumber Mill doesn't provide.

The only advantage of the Lumber Mill is that you could accumulate lumber slightly easier than the varied trade goods the Trading Post asks from you. But that's not a big deal. If you keep a full work order queue then you can simply wait for the next day and see if it asks for another easier to get resource to trade in.

I would like to point out that you get ressources off rare mobs the FIRST time you kill them. I have never gotten ressources subsequent kills.

Note that 配方：菲奥拉的解毒剂 is not a Rare Drop Item. You get this from Fiona after you've completed the quests for making the serum for Gidwin, and applying it to him.

I have several alts that I log on to just for garrison farming but am unclear as to what time intervals to log them in. For example, how long before the following max out and no longer accumulate resources

1. Garrison Resources
2. Mine
3. Farm

Also, how do you maximize Draenic Seeds and Draenic Stone so you can always fill up your queue?

Awesome and blissfully short guide, I was at resource cap and didn't know what to do.
(Totally forgot you could use them for seals of tempered fate!)

You have one small mistake, the trade post is listed twice.
I recommend removing the entry: "Merchants from your Level 1 Trading Post sell crafting reagents (herbs, meat, fish) for varying amounts of Garrison Resources--some days have better deals than others."

Since the other entry is better worded.

Re the rush orders. Do you have to have work orders already queued and it completes 5 of the existing ones, or you buy and use it and it gives you the equivalent of five orders? (I suspect the first, otherwise you'd get the results without using up the herbs, ore, etc, and the barn with it's three different types of orders...)

The innkeepers no longer sell the stuff. For example, I was only able to find Excess Potion of Accelerated Learning on Grimjaw.

When using any of the Rush Orders please note that you must actually have the work orders queued for it to instantly finish 5 of them.

There is so much focus on acquiring Garrison Resources, but there are likely to be a lot of people out there wanting to use their abundance of resources to prevent capping and thus wasting the accumulation of anything over the cap.

The best use if you have an abundance of resources is to first of all consider buying a 钢化命运印记. If you aren't willing to spend that many just for a bonus roll, then consider stockpiling reagents. Another good use of your resources is to convert them to Follower upgrade armour and weapons at the Dwarven Bunker - even if you have max followers all at iLevel 675, the cap is likely to be raised in future patches, if not in 6.2.

You will need that abundance in 6.2, so just float around the cap until you can stock up on Oil and upgrade your naval activities. Though after upgrading your Shipyard, the same problem is likely to occur soon after (unless they raise the cap past 10K). It might pay to continue converting any excess resources into reagents and finding ways to turn those into gold. :)

You may want to re-check the guide. There are several parts which require updating.
