内爆: As this deals Shadowflame damage you can gain a large advantage in damage by combining this talent alongside with 恐惧奇袭, 来自暗影 and 肉食追踪者. Those talents enable your Dreadstalkers to spread a damage amplifier in AoE.

恶魔之箭: Similar to Implosion, this deals full Shadowflame damage so you can stack a fair amount of damage through not only 恐惧奇袭, 来自暗影 and 肉食追踪者 but also by combining 邪能契约 with 献祭之魂 and 能量虹吸, further boosting its power.

高阶术士的规划: Has some additional synergy with talents such as 召唤邪犬 and 魔典：恶魔卫士 since they count as greater demons you can gain additional power for your 召唤恶魔暴君 through effective one 灵魂碎片 summons.

Is there a limit to how many wild imps can spawn at once? If so, that would help indicate when it's best to cast Implosion.

What are people doing to tag mobs during WQ and solo content? I don't want to take Doom (and it's not a great choice on something that will die in under 30 sec anyway).

I was doing some old content and the fastest thing was just to run up and attack with my dagger. Not very Warlock-ly.

Casting Implosion instantly after casting Hand does not destroy the imps that spawn from that hand.
You essentially implode imps before the hand lands and summons more imps.
With the haste buff from the Azerite trait on implosion, would it be viable to work Implosion into your rotation with every hand cast to maintain a near 100% uptime on that haste buff from the trait even on single target?

Hmm i am not really sure how to handle the haste buff from "explosive potential" during a Demonic Tyrant phase? Should i try to keep it up but if i do so i will decrease the uptime of my imps during this phase.

Wait...Demonbolt will cap us at 5, then Hand will bring us down to 2. Bilescourge will bring us from 2 to 0. Shadow Bolt brings us up to 1, then Grim:Fel brings us to 0. How exactly do we Summon Vilefiend afterwards, much less Call Dreadstalkers?

When selecting the Talent options on the Single Target Priority Rotation there's a small oversight in the optimal opener.

By default you'll pre-cast Demonbolt, putting you to 5 shards, then HoG > Dogs > Build to 3 > HoG > (If hasted build to 3 > HoG) > Tyrant.
When selecting the optimal ST talents (namely Summon Vilefiend and Grimoire: Felguard) they get placed before the first HoG, leading you to casting HoG at 3 shards and not 5, making dogs unable to be cast. Ideally we get a proc for instant dogs, but it'd be nice to see in the opener a build to 5 line if either is selected.

Shouldn't be too hard, but would offset all the show=# tags for the section by one or two depending on how you do it.

Hi, a guestion for ST opener with Felguard talented.
If I follow the rotation, then I open with DB (5cores), felguard (4), HoG (1) and then I cant call Dreadstalkers if I dont proc the free cast, because I dont have enough cores. Should I switch Dreadstalkers and hog or should I insert a shadowbolt cast in there?

I think there is an error for the Single Target Opener section. The recommended sequence of hardcast Demonbolt > Grimoire > Vilefiend > Hand does not leave enough shards for the Dreadstalkers next in line

Hey! I just wanted to mention, that youre ST opener does not work. At the point where I have to cast Dreadstalkers, I have 0 shards so I can only follow the priority, if I get a proc on it.

The Rotation Helper is a bit off. This is what the opener for NF should look like:

Precast Demonbolt (4 Seconds on Pulltimer)
Soul Rot (if Niya)
Grimoire: Felguard (if talented)
Summon Vilefiend
Build to 5 shards with Shadow Bolt
Call Dreadstalkers
Build to 5 shards if Call Dreadstalkers was not instant cast.
Summon imps with Hand of Gul'dan on 3 shards and demonbolt/shadow bolt to build shards
When Grimoire: Felguard has less than 5 seconds left cast Hand of Gul’dan until 0 shards
Use any stat trinkets
Summon Demonic Tyrant
Use Soul Rot (if Dreamweaver)
Demonic Strength (if selected)

Great guide but I really am having great difficulty understanding the section about How Doom Works. I'm trying to follow along with the logic, but the numbers aren't making sense in my mind. The numbers you are giving for how much time is left on the DOT when you refresh it, and when the next tick will be just don't seem to make sense no matter how I look at it. Is there a way you could explain that section a bit more clearly? Or at least explain it a different way with different words? I've been trying to understand it for quite some time and I simply can't wrap my brain around your examples. Also you don't really make a conclusion from the examples, you just are showing the different pathways of what might happen. What is the significance? How does this affect what I'm supposed to do with when to cast Doom?

Other than this though, this guide is detailed and really excellent, amazing work and thank you!

There seems to be a slight disconnect between the rotation and the recommended talent build. The entire opener section for the Nether Portal build says to only do it if you have a specific list of talents, and then the actual talent guide recommended at the same time doesn't have all of those talents. Namely, Summon Vilefiend is supposedly required for the rotation but then not included in the build. Which one is correct?

So updated ST opening rotation for DF as of 12/27/22 should be:

1. Precast Demonbolt (4 Seconds on Pulltimer)
2. Nether Portal
3. Call Dreadstalkers
4. Grimoire: Felguard
5. Summon Vilefiend
6. Use any stat trinkets
7. Summon Demonic Tyrant
8. Demonic Strength
9. Hand of Guldan
10. Power Siphon

Then continue onto normal rotation.

This rotation apparently has a gap - during Nether Portal it's important to use Hand of Gul'Dan every time you have shards regardless of number of them, it's not required to have 3. Also if you have The Expendables talent, use Implosion right when Pitlord is summed - will make it stronger. Additionally when you have Imp Gang Boss that's about to expire, use Implosion to make your demons stronger.
