Necrolord Restoration Shaman Covenant Abilities
Necrolord Shaman Class Ability:

始源之潮
is a really interesting ability that resembles the old monk spell Uplift. The tooltip is messy, as it tries to fit 3 specializations in there, so to recap:
If you cast
始源之潮
on a friendly, it does a little bit of healing and applies
激流
to that target.
Cast
始源之潮
on an enemy, it does a little bit of damage and applies
烈焰震击
to the target.
Either way you get the buff that causes your next
治疗波
to also cast a
治疗波
on everyone who has your
激流
buff.
There is no further damage component for Restoration Shaman, meaning the
熔岩爆裂
part for Elemental Shamans does not work for us. The copied
治疗波
are all individual hits and don't get any of the effects of the original
治疗波
; instead, they all scale on their own with stats and effects. The copies can get affected by some abilities however, for example using the casted
治疗波
to proc
波动
will buff all copies, as they will see the buff as active. Something similar happens with
生命释放
, but this time it buffs both the casted and copied
治疗波
if you're buffing the cast. The conduit

works more like the first example again, where if you have 2 stacks of it when you're casting the

to proc

, the cast will consume 1 stack and the copies will use the other one to get buffed.
Since the copies all happen at the same time, they benefit from buffs that usually would only buff 1 spell in this case.
The strong part of this ability is how it supports your spot healing and isn't restricted by range, something that limits almost the whole Restoration Shaman kit. It doesn't matter where people are as long as you can manage to throw a
激流
on them to them.
Necrolord Conduit for

gives you a chance to reset
始源之潮
when used, which allows you to cast it again (don't forget to

first to use up the buff) and use another
治疗波
on even more targets. Due to the relatively high reset chance, this is really potent, but you have to factor in that the targets you just healed with

are likely to already be pretty healthy, which could mess up your timings on
始源之潮
. Great potential, but great RNG.

Best Necrolord Restoration Shaman Max Renown 80 Soulbind
On the way to Renown 80, you maintain the Emeni Soulbind throughout the Renown leveling process. Emeni remains the strongest Soulbind at all levels of renown.
The below Soulbind Calculator is valid starting at Renown 60. Conduits are socketed in order of highest priority from top to bottom in order to facilitate the greatest benefit when empowering conduit rows from renown. on cooldown as well, as usual, so you can quickly react to damage. It is possible to gain another

buff by taking

until you have 2 charges ready - so that extra charge can roll into the

window. However, that requires planning and foresight, so most of the time it's better to ignore this aspect.

There are no gearing differences from choosing the Necrolord Covenant. It doesn't increase the power of any trinket, weapon or particular stat.

Necrolord Restoration Shaman Soulbinds Explained
Across all classes and specs, Necrolords have access to the same three soulbinds:
Plague Deviser Marileth
,
Emeni
and
Bonesmith Heirmir
. They are the NPCs with whom you complete the zone story, and they allow you to "attune" yourself to them to gain access to a tree of upgrades centered around your base toolkit (through Conduits) and Covenant abilities (through special game-wide traits).
These trees progressively unlock based on completion steps (such as finishing the campaign) and your Renown level with the the Necrolord covenant.
We've summarized the optimal traits for each soulbind below, along with potential conduits to slot in. Do bear in mind that endurance conduit choice will largely depend on which encounter you will be progressing, as their value changes dramatically based on the requirements they enforce.

by granting 120 mastery for 2 minutes. This is generally useful in dungeons, especially since you don't need to fully channel the shield to gain the bonus buffs.

These benefits strongly incentivize the use of
