Frost Mage Raid Talent Build
This is the standard raid build for Frost Mages.
热能真空
and
冰雹
are the two strongest Frost Mage talents in raid scenarios. Pathing to both of these talents while avoiding talents that are not good for priority target damage results in a relatively straightforward way to spend the first 26 points. After that,
顺滑寒冰
and
急速冷冻
are relatively strong talents relative to what is left, which brings the build up to 28/30 points. For the two last points, the best remaining single target options are points in
冻结寒风
and
深度碎裂
. I recommend taking
冻结寒风
in most cases, because the extra
寒冰指
procs allow you to move more freely because they can be spent while moving. However, two points in
深度碎裂
can result in more overall damage when the rotation is played correctly.
On fights where additional cleave damage is desired it is usually a good idea to select
冻结寒风
, and the points in
深度碎裂
and
冰冻之触
will typically be replaced with
唤冰者
and
冰冻之雨
.
In the general Mage tree,

Frost Mage Mythic+ Talent Build
This build tries to strike a balance between priority target damage for bosses and AoE damage for trash pulls.
If you wish to maximize single target damage for bosses, such as when playing hard keys on Tyrannical weeks, you should consider moving the points from
寒冬狂潮
and
碎裂寒冰
to
雪暴
and
零下低温
and the point from
顺滑寒冰
or
永续冬寒
to
冰霜撕咬
(do not play with
冰霜撕咬
on
血池
weeks). While
唤冰者
and
冰冻之雨
are AoE talents, they are efficient enough that you should select them in dungeons even with a build more focused on single target.
If you wish to fully maximize AoE damage for trash, such as when playing hard keys on Fortified weeks, you should consider changing
孤寂寒冬
to
召唤水元素
, which will let you use
冰冻术
to substantially increase the benefit you are getting from
碎冰
, especially when combined with
雪暴
. It is also worth noting in the general tree that
掌控时间
will reduce the cooldown of
寒冰新星
, resulting in additional AoE damage. If you do not need
龙息术
to help interrupt trash, then this can be a strong option; but in general I would not recommend this as the damage increase will typically not be enough to offset the potential wipes saved by using
龙息术
to stop casts.

Where's the pvp talents/spec? You have for leveling, dungeons and raids and mythic + and raiding. I myself after checking several sources have my talents spec'd differently cause I'm a pvper and could care less about dungeons and raids. I'm sure there's many many others like me. Thanks. (frost spec)

Your levelling spec recommends Comet Storm in the text, but highlights Splitting Ice on the talent box.

Hmmmmm ... is a build with Cold Front, Necrolord, SI (as legendary), Icy Propulsion (as conduit) and splitting ice (but not Hailstones and the Icy Veins talents) not maybe better for the current M+ dungeons? Or is the Icy Veins uptime too low?

Why is the talent tree labeled as "Icy Propulsion Conduit" the one that doesn't have the Icy Propulsion talent chosen and the one labeled as "Cleave Talent Build" does have the Icy Propulsion talent chosen?

Sorry if I'm missing it but, how do you dump your icicles? The only way i knew to do it was Glacial Spike and I don't see that selected in any of the trees. Is that not a thing anymore?

Ok I *know* I'm being really really stupid, but where is Cone of Cold? I assume it gets turned into something else but I can't find it anywhere. Several abilities buff/change it and I have no idea where to find it! (so very embarrassing *blushes*)
Omg I am absolutely blind. In my defence, normally if I don't have an ability in my hotbar, the spellbook flashes a glowy edge around the spell you are missing. Sorry about that! (very embarrassed still).
