血溅十方, 死亡飞轮 and 狂野怒火 should just be used on cooldown, you should not try actively to line these up with eachother, as they are all short cooldowns that are not very impactful. You should however still hold them for important burst windows or near the end of dungeon pulls.

狂暴 / 血性狂怒 / 先祖召唤 / 烈焰之血 should be lined up with your 狂野怒火 , but not at the cost of losing a use over the course of an encounter or dungeon.

Potions and Trinkets which buff your stats should be used alongside 狂野怒火 if possible, and ideally during Bloodlust. If you're using 荒野的召唤 you instead want to be using them with that.

Suboptimal talent choices in 荒野的召唤, 群兽奔腾 and 野性守护 should generally just be used on cooldown.

Note that 野性守护 is very low priority in all situations and usually only replaces a 眼镜蛇射击.

群兽奔腾 can be lined up for an AoE moment during a raid boss or the start of a Mythic+ pull for maximum cleave potential.

Advanced Beast Mastery Hunter TipsFrenzy Management狂暴

Start by playing the mechanic conservatively, while you will get 倒刺射击 resets through mechanics such as 荒野呼唤, it is better to start off playing it safe and then later learn when it's fine to spend additional 倒刺射击s. Dropping 狂暴 will always ruin your dps.

血之气息 will make maintaining 狂暴 a fair bit easier. You will want to spend 倒刺射击s prior to 狂野怒火 to not waste 血之气息s effect. Similarly you will want to make sure you are at 0 倒刺射击 charges before using 狂野怒火.

To minmax this effect further, you will want to bear in mind your current charges of 倒刺射击, the time left on 狂野怒火, and the 8 seconds of 狂暴 you would have before you need to refresh. This means you can spend 倒刺射击s with up towards 30 seconds left on 狂野怒火 (or 20 seconds if you're only running 1 rank of 血之气息) if you current have 2 charges, though bear in mind the global cooldown.

Frenzy Tracker Weak AuraBarbed Shot Helper Weak Aura倒刺射击狂暴Pet Management

For AoE it's relatively important that your pet(s) are central in the pack, to maximize the amount of targets hit by 野兽顺劈. Pets will generally try to attack the back of the mob so try to move them to target whose back is towards the middle of the pack. The Visual Beast Cleave Weak Aura will help you know which mobs are being hit by 野兽顺劈.

The Macros & Addons page has various tools to help control your pets better, including a solution to their broken autocast and various pet attack macros.

Pets like to get stuck a lot! Generally speaking your best solution to this is either using your pets "Follow" or "Passive" commands, or swapping between them, so make sure you have these bound to reasonable keys. Each problem will have a unique solution. In the worst case scenario you will have to dismiss your pet and resummon it. On some encounters your pet will die from improperly coded AoE, on some they will move out of range and despawn.

Your 杀戮命令 and 倒刺射击 will make the pet charge towards the target, so when target-swapping you will want to make good use of these effectively to minimize your pets downtime. Your pet also has 急奔 which you can additionally manage for the same purpose. By default this is set to auto-cast which often wastes it.

Multi-Dotting倒刺射击

You want to make sure you are using 倒刺射击 on as many different targets as possible. However you should aim to maintain it on targets which you expect to live for the longest to make sure you get the most value out of it.

You should set up your UI so you can easily track which targets have 倒刺射击 on them, to make it easy to identify.

The Macros and Addons Page has a couple of mouseover macros for 倒刺射击 which is generally easier to use when it comes to multi-dotting.

If you have 奈萨拉克斯，苍天宿敌, you still want to multi-dot. As the attack speed buff resets on auto attacks but not ability usage, using mouseover macros will let you maintain the bleed on a secondary target while auto attacking your primary target.

Anyone else notice that we're not getting the 10% crit buff when we activate aspect of the wild? I see it up in my buffs at the top right corner of my ui, but I'm not actually seeing the extra 10% on my character screen. I do see the stacking crit bonus from other effects so.... I'm assuming we're not actually getting the extra crit.

Never use Barbed Shot when Bestial Wrath is available, or else you waste its cooldown reduction. This shouldn't be a problem in most cases since you almost never want to delay Bestial Wrath.

The cooldown is still reduced even when Bestial Wrath is active. Just checked on a target dummy.

I was checking out the single target rotation and noticed that none of the talented spells are part of the rotation list.. Why is that?

I must be a horrible BM Hunter. There is just way too much in today’s WOW to keep track of. I try to play to this outline of recommended priorities, but it is just too much for me to keep track of during fights. Unfortunately for those whom are grouped with me, I have resorted to using a rotation as it just makes the game and my BM Hunter more enjoyable to play. As many of you will most likely recommend, I will be focusing 99% of my WOW efforts in the classic server once that server tab appears.

I do want to say thank you though as it is evident that you are truly passionate about Hunters. It really shows. The work you put into the Hunter guide is five star! I am probably a two/three star skilled player, but it is clear if you are talented enough, then this guide will put you on track to a competitive place in end game content. Nice job. Thank you.

I can't help but notice that the talent selections and rotations in this page for both single target and mutli-target currently include Chimera Shot and Murder of Crows, whereas the Talents page specifically excludes both of these talents. This page has been updated 4 months more recently than the talent page. Can we get an update to this page for those of us catching up a bit near the end of this expansion?

Arcane shot: An ability that does less damage that uses more focus and doesn't reduce any hunter ability cds?

Hunters Mark doesn't add 5% extra damage. This is not accurate at all.. The only thing Hunter's Mark does, is letting the hunter track it and see it no matter what.

In the "Issue with basic pet attacks"...put those in a macro with the attack works but results in spams of "I need a target to attack" until the fight gets going. I guess the basic attack and the main attack all execute simultaneously. Is there a way to suppress that?

Note: As of Dragonflight full release, this guide says "Dragonflight" but hasn't been updated since the Shadowlands Covenant talents. Rotations here have been superceded by completely new talent trees and removal of Covenant talents in most non-SL content (abilities are no longer active outside of SL zones).

While BM rotation hasn't changed too much, there are differences in the rotation that Tarlo updated in his 'Why You Should Play Beast Mastery Hunter in Dragonflight (And Why You Shouldn't)" news guide. Once our Hunter friend Tarlo updates this guide I can happily remove this as outdated information. THanKS!
