A big healing tether that you'll attach to an ally (likely a ranged DPS). You'll also both get a Versatility buff.

A massive chunk of Haste. Can also proc crit and versatility if you have a DPS and tank wearing it in your party.

A decent mana / DPS mix, though the Alacritous Alchemist Stone competes strongly in this niche.

Crafting: Alchemy

Extremely good if it gets you an extra mana potion use.

An excellent crit on-use trinket. You'll combine this with .

A beautifully weird trinket that puts a shield on one target and then chains to another, four times. Easier to get full value out of in raid where rot damage is more common. Poor for getting an entire party through a one shot.

Easier to use than Miniature Singing stone and has a slightly bigger heal. Sadly lacks passive intellect which bumps its value down a bit.

Good if you include the buff you give to a friend, but poor from a personal point of view. Also can't be used when questing alone.

Has a damage proc, two healing procs and two stat procs. Altogether too inconsistent to see a lot of use.

Combining poor damage and poor healing doesn't quite make a good trinket.

Crafting: Inscription

Another damage / healing mix that has neither the numbers nor the ease of use to see even occasional play.

Requires a full group stand in a very small circle to be good. Poor execution of an interesting idea.

Weapon (likely ) with . Potion Absorption Inhibitor is by far our strongest Embellishment in raid and an early weapon is a significant upgrade. It doesn't come without some conditions though: Potions of Chilled Clarity are expensive and Potion Absorption Inhibitor does nothing if you're not drinking them. The embellishment also doesn't help you in Mythic+ (though the weapon itself is great). If you're unable to find a very skilled crafter and give them a Primal Infusion then you might also be vulnerable to having a stronger weapon drop in Mythic+ depending on how high you're planning on pushing. Requires you find a good offhand.

: If you're able to get an extra potion from it on a fight then it's beaten only by the top 2 raid trinkets which are quite tough to get. The downside is that it's much weaker in Mythic+.

: Adds ~1.2% secondary stats via a proc. Fine in all content types but tough competition from in raid.

There isn't necessarily a right or wrong decision among these three and you can grab whichever you miss out on in two weeks time. Weapon is generally the choice with the highest potential throughput.Best Embellishments for Restoration Druid

I love that there's several comprehensive gear lists here. Just a thought, since I prefer keys to raiding, I wish guides would start posting BiS mythic + gear instead of just assuming everyone is gearing only for raiding anymore. I hope people will start doing that this xpac. Thanks for the help with this very thorough guide.

I feel like Deferred Sentence needs a reevaluation. It generates up to 5% of my overall healing on fights with steady incomming damage and a lot of movement. It's no lifesaver trinket for sure (which isn't druids forte anyway), but it can really help for overall troughput.

Why isn't that in the trinket section? According to the parse page i looked at it's roughly 40-50 percent up time, making it a very good throughput trinket.

For dungeon-only healing, you'll typically want to prioritize a more Mastery-based gearing setup.

Then why does the BiS dungeon gear list favor haste over mastery? E.g. for rings, Signet of the False Accusers has a ton mastery + smaller haste. Why would we take Stitchflesh's Misplaced Signet that has haste / vers?
