Patch 9.2.5 has added a new questline for Blood Elves, which has you return to the Ghostlands to help contain a Scourge reappearance and gain a new weapon mount and a special ensemble for Paladins. In this guide, you will learn the requirements to start this questline, a quick glance at the storyline and the rewards to gain from it.
Blood Elf Heritage Questline Requirements
This questline requires a Blood Elf character who is
level 60
and
Exalted with

Blood Elf Heritage Questline Story
The questline starts with
, who will be waiting for you near the Orgrimmar portal by the outskirts of Oribos. The starting quest is
.
This questline accompanies a Scourge reappearance in the Ghostlands, including the appearance of a known character who is finally ready for action, and a trip to the Shadowlands to empower a weapon.
You will need to complete the following quests to complete the questline:
or
(Paladin only)
Blood Elf Heritage Questline Rewards
Completing this questline will give you several rewards: A mount and a Polearm transmog, and a special ensemble and polearm transmog for Paladins.
Mount
This is a Green Hawkstrider mount, and one of the original Hawkstrider mounts that were added all the way back to the Burning Crusade expansion but were never made available to players until now. As this counts as a Blood Elf racial mount, only Horde players can ride it.
Unseen for many years, this brightly hued hawkstrider emerged from hiding to help defend the Ghostlands from the Scourge. Its prowess shines as brilliantly as its feathers.
Quest: Blood Knight
Zone: Ghostlands
Quest: Victory for the Sin'dorei
Zone: Ghostlands
Polearm Transmog
The questline involves empowering a Ranseur, one of the Blood Elves most distinctive weapons, by using powers that come from the Shadowlands. As such, you will receive the ranseur as a polearm transmog!
Blood Elf Paladin
Ensemble
Paladins, when completing this quest, will receive a special transmog set: Blood Knight's dedication, which matches the set used by Blood Knight NPCs and the
.
This ensemble comes with pieces covering all armor slots, as well as four selections of cloaks that match the transmog but have slightly different sizes and cuts:

Polearm Transmog for Blood Elf Paladins
In addition to the Blood Knight ensemble, Blood Elf Paladins will also gain access to a special cosmetic Polearm transmog after completing the questline: the
, which is an exact match to the original
polearm which was removed all the way back in Cataclysm, with the world revamp and the removal of the questline that leads to the polearm.
To obtain this transmog, after completing the Blood Knight questline, return to Deathholme in the Ghostlands, and locate the corpse of
, near one the cauldrons in the subzone. The
will be lying right next to the slain Paladin - Just loot it to obtain your transmog!

One day I’m hoping Blizz can rework/fix the proportions of boots… particularly on female characters. These things look clunky and ridiculous. Not much better on male characters.

If we don't have a paladin, I take it we have to level up a new one? If anyone can confirm

Big Sad the mount is only for Paladins as well :(

People were begging for swords, shields and whatever else the NPCs in silvermoon are wielding... And we get polearms that only match the heritage set, not the blood knight set which looks identical to a pvp set that can be easily obtained for all plate classes. Very disappointing.

Ugh,,, Since my only BE char that is at Exalted with Silvermoon and Lvl 60 is my Warlock, I got neither the cool armor nor the polearm transmogs. If I level up a BE paladin to 60 and get him to exalted, can I run this questline again to get the polearms and armor transmog?

Can I use a boosted level 60 blood elf paladin to get the transmog + weapons? or does this need to be a hand leveled toon?

The
套装:血骑士的奉献
set is not as impressive as the
Sin'dorei (Blood Elf) Heritage Armor
set and the
染幕长矛
goes perfectly with the latter set especially if you put the
Illusion: Sinwrath
on the weapon. And the
陨落骑士的长矛
is not so great either with the Blood Knight ensemble. JMHO

I love that the veil-touched polearm actually sits properly on the characters, if only they could do the same with other polearm models

Any suggestions for the boss fight with Vorath at the end of the quest chain? As a melee character (Paladin) he is able to hit me with these big purple balls of DEATH (Entropic Blast?) with what appear to be an instant cast. I can't interrupt them, and by the time I see them they have hit me for 15K health. Two of those and I'm dead. I'm a level 60 Paladin with about 30k health / 50k mana in Ret, and 40k health / 50k mana in Prot. Item level of 158.
I've tried the fight in both RET spec and PROT spec, and while prot spec does last longer, I'm not really getting any further into the fight.
Should I simply go level to 70 in Dragon Isles / Dungeons and then come back and try this?
Any help or suggestions are much appreciated!

Is there a one handed swors and shield that match the Heritage of the sin' dorei set?
