Nigthborne is a nice looking race and I'm going to try making one but regarding the Heritage Armor, if it's only for Nightborne I probably not going to bother getting it as my favorite races are tauren and troll.

I'll be honest, I'm extremely disappointed to not see the druid class available for them. It would have been so great if they could have been druids, it's not like they didn't offer options for them during Legion. But seems the new allied races won't offer any druids a chance. I would have love to change my troll to a Nightborne.

Screw the druids eh...

Completed all relevant achievements/questlines & not able to create Nightborne characters. Hopefully, it will work soon.

WAIT, WAIT AND WAIT! Im maining alliance and I dont have any 110 in horde yet. For the 塔莉萨的庄园 I need to go to Suramar, and its a horde race, so I have to get 110 horde cahr first?

I just couldn't resist making a macro like this...
This macro basically makes your character to say one of the famous quotes when you cast the racial spell.

About heritage armor. Guys, do you know if you have to level only once to get it for all future chars of that race? Even if they are boosted?

So I go through all the requirements on my primary Alliance toon just to have to burn 110 level up on a Hordie (that I won't be playing) just to unlock the Horde race I want to play? *sigh*

In the introductory video for the allied races it said it needed the achievements "exalted with the Nightborne" and "a good suramatarian" and now it says "Insurrection"? I haven't played wow for like 3 months now, is this achievement fairly easy to complete or is it another pain in the butt?

you can't use any heirlooms right since they are a boost or is it just potion boost you can't use, can someone clairfy

Never in 14 years have I wanted to play any of the existing horde races until Nightborne. I have everything unlocked on my Alliance main yet I cannot choose a Nightborne without first using my 110 boost on another horde character I will never play?

The same-faction level 110 character requirement amounts to a hidden requirement for unlocking these races.

If Blizzard wants players to do more cross-faction play, then they'll need to change how this works.

So I assume the champion named Syrenne is a Nightborne that your hunter rescues for their new champion they recruit on broken shore. My hunter is alliance, seems they would get a void elf to rescue.

Protip: unlike the standard races, Allied Races can change everything about their appearance (hair, accessories, and skin color) at the Barber. I forgot if face is an option. Allied Races only have a handful of customization options anyway, so thankfully we can change them at will. Also keep in mind that the general animations for any Allied Race are the same as their "origin" race (Nightborne -> Night Elf, Void Elf -> Blood Elf, and so on). Armor scaling may be slightly different as well. I haven't tested all the Allied Races yet, but they do seem to have some subtle differences. Nightborne , for instance, have more of a regal gait to them than their Night Elf counterparts.

Also, hot damn did they do a good job with the Nightborne. Everything from subtle rigging changes to armor scaling, etc - they simply move with a graceful air and have the appearances to match. I think this is my favorite Allied Race, both in terms of aesthetic and lore.

Only thing I'm curious about is if there's something extra you have to do to get the different colors of Heritage Armor, or if both variations unlock once you hit 110. I have yet to see the red version in-game. Would be a crying shame if they don't include that, as has been speculated.

This is likely an obvious question, but I assume the 110 level grind has to be done for each race you want the particular xmog for? Or does grinding it out for one unlock it for all four races?

Expanded upon Jaafan's original idea to say the well-known phrases via a macro-cast to only do so in the event that Arcane Pulse racial ability is off cooldown. In total it's 250/255 characters #whew.

Once earned, the heritage armor can be used by any Nightborne alts, including low level, boosted and race changed ones.

Is it just me or is this guide super confusing?

Next you must complete the Allied Races: Nightborne (Hidden Character Achievement) unlock requirements. This involves a special recruitment quest and some prerequisites.

Wtf does that mean? The link it leads to isn't helpful either.

Hi all. I hadn't really seen any info post BFA launch, so thought I'd share to help someone else out who may be having the same issue I did. I completed insurrection, and the faction requirements on my alliance druid, the day BFA went live. I had done the Lordaeron stuff, heart of azeroth quest, and the beginning quest in bfa on my druid. I had NOT done them on my Boosted 110 horde character. I wasn't getting the quest on my horde character, so i came here to find a solution, and the consensus was that I needed to do the Lordaeron scenario on my Hordie. So i did that. No luck. Then i thought, maybe i needed to do the heart of azeroth part with my Horde character. did it, then went back to Orgrimmar, and still no luck. At this point, i figured, while im on my horde character, may as well see the hordes version of the beginning of BFA, so i did. Once i got to the part where the portals and bank were set up, i used the portal to Org, and lo and behold, the Blood elf chick had an "!" above her head in the embassy. I did the questline-which was very cool, btw:) and now have my Nightborn Mage! Hope it helps someone, and even if you dont work on the allied races, if you just play an alliance, i HIGHLY recommend boosting a Horde Character, if only to check out their side of the story-very interesting, especially the bit about the Sunwell:)

Do i need to be exalted with Nightfallen on my horde to unlock Nightborne? Exalted with Nightfallen on my alliance so Got achiev, but dosen't seem like thats Enough .

Refresh my memory: is the Court of Stars required for Good Suramaritan/Insurrection. Got a guild member wanting to unlock nightborne, but I can't remember for the life of me if the quests related to that instance were requirements, or if they could be skipped with just the zone quests/rep being the key things to work on.

Quick question....

I've seen it asked and have not gotten a clear answer.... I have a 113 Alliance toon and have completed the Insurrection quest line and also have exalted rep with the Nightborne, but I am unable to make a Nightborne toon.... any thoughts ? Thanks

My main Nightshine has both achievements but cannot create the Nightborne, the achievements are red in the requirements field. Those achievements have been completed on this toon so there is a miscommunication somewhere.

In addition my horde toon Fabiana has also completed the exalted Nightfallen, but not the storyline one, however my main, Nightshine has, as mentioned before.

Maybe I need to complain...

There is still a small rep gate for anyone trying to get through this without playing through the rest of Legion: Stabilizing Suramar requires that you complete Uniting the Isles which requires Friendly with the main factions to unlock the World Quests. Not the end of the world, but can be a hassle if you're not expecting it.
