Gathering Professions: Mining, Skinning and Herbalism will allow players to loot 源生萨格里特 while on Argus. A new herb 星辰之耀, a new ore 天界金, a new leather 恶魔皮革 will be available for gatherers on Argus.

圣光使者之赐: Similar to 猎血者之赐, it gives mobs a small chance to loot 源生萨格里特 from corpses. It requires Revered with 圣光军团.

Argus World Quests can reward 源生萨格里特.

转化：源生萨格里特: Alchemists can use this transmute to transmute 25 萨格拉斯之血 into 源生萨格里特.

Ways to Spend 源生萨格里特源生萨格里特

Combine it with 1 抑魔金 to transform it into 源生抑魔金.

Each 源生抑魔金 use on Argus gear uses 1 源生萨格里特.

Ways to Spend 源生抑魔金

1 源生抑魔金 is required to upgrade Argus crafted gear by 5 ilvls, to a maximum ilvl of 935. Each use requires 1 源生萨格里特.

Ways to Acquire 萨格拉斯之血

Gathering professions: Mining, Skinning, and Herbalism Rank 2 skills allow players to loot Bloods in addition to the usual gathering reagents. Each Rank 2 skill is tied to a specific questline.

猎血者之赐: Small chance for mobs to drop 猎血者的收获 which contains 萨格拉斯之血. This shoulder enchant requires Revered with 守望者.

Fishing: One of the Fishing Artifact traits, Bloodfishing, grants a chance to catch 萨格拉斯之血 in the Broken Isles.

World Quests, available to level 110 players, can reward 萨格拉斯之血. These are mostly found on crafting world quests, which require skill level 100, but can also be found on general quests. To see what quests and rewards are up, visit our World Quests Page.

Emissary Quests: When you complete 4 World Quests for a highlighted faction, you are rewarded with a special rewards satchel. This has a low chance to contain 萨格拉斯之血.

Disenchanting: Rare and epic items have a small chance to disenchant into 萨格拉斯之血.

Heroic and Mythic dungeons reward Bloods; Mythic dungeons have a 1 week lockout period for loot.

Destroy crafted gear at the Obliterum Forge for 抑魔金灰烬. 100 dust is required to make 1 抑魔金. The amount of ash varies and increases based on the ilvl of the crafted item. This includes crafted gear, relics, gems, flasks, and potions. Obliterating ilvl 815 chests and legs appears to be the best yield.

Buy 抑魔金 from the AH.

1 抑魔金 is required to upgrade crafted gear by 5 ilvls, to a maximum ilvl of 900. To fully max out an item, you will need 12 抑魔金.

The Demon Hunter Class Quest 强化战刃 requires 1 抑魔金.

Combine 抑魔金 with 1 源生萨格里特 to turn it into 源生抑魔金.

How much more effort and time will it take a character who only has crafting professions to gather bloods?

You have to melt 100 items for a single obliterum? That's an insanely massive grind. Probably faster to get a piece of LFR gear to warforge to 850 than it is to craft a piece.

◾1 Obliterum is required to upgrade crafted gear by 5 ilvls, to a maximum ilvl of 850. To fully max out an item, you will need 9 Obliterum.

There are 7 levels between 815 and 850, not 9. So the total Obliterum required would be 7 (plus 14 Blood of Sargeras).

Question:

If a chr has two gathering professions, then how useful is either of these reagents?

抑魔金 can only be obtained via destroying crafted gear.

萨格拉斯之血 is predominantly a gathered reagent but is BoP.

What value do either of these items have if their use is limited?

I know this has probably been covered somewhere else but a few of our guildies dont want to unlearn their gathering professions....

If these items are continue to be BOP, could Blizzard expand Gathering skills as Secondary Skills instead of Gathering as a profession.
Now all players can have two profession, and gathering skills.

There are numerous ways to get 萨格拉斯之血 which don't require having Herbalism, Mining, or Skinning so don't panic! Those are not the only gathering professions. Everyone has access to the oldest profession. ... By which I mean Fishing, of course.

Little weird that 魔火试炼 only requires items from 3 professions, while the rest is just going to have to spend some extra on the AH.

Would it be possible for Wowhead to add an "Obliterating ..." tab (similar to the "Disenchanting ..." tab) to Legion crafted gear, to give us a guide to efficiently make Obliterum, please? Or is that info not available/collectible?

Does anyone know if using the forge for someone else's crafted items yield less?
I used my own 715 I level Engineering Helms and they yield 4-8 Ash per.
I used someone else 785 I level Leather bracers and got 2 Ash per.

I hope blizzard have something more planned for this whole obliterum forge deal considering that crafted gear, even at level 850 is going to become pretty obsolete further in the expac. Considering how much the crafted items and the mats for this particular line of quests/aspect cost if you don't have access to the professions required.

OMG thank you whom ever started this thread i was going nuts trying to figure out how i was going to do this thankfully i have a tailor a blacksmith and a leatherworker but leveling all three up to be able to craft these items is going to give me a migraine lol... plus i was wondering how the HELL to get the patterns to make the items!

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet 1 blood of seragas can be gotten from world quests and 2 the amount of ash given for obliterating stuff has been extremely nerfed just as skinning as been nerfed

I find it really strange that Dev gated 抑魔金 behind such a gold/time wall : 魔火试炼.
Just unlocking the recipe is long and farming all component for all the bracers, you will be geared in a lot of 840+ gear.

If the purpose of 抑魔金 was to keep crafted gear interesting then it's a fail as it take too much time and/or gold.

I suppose we will have to wait 7.1 or later patch, with new recipe to find a better use for 抑魔金.

The introduction should be clearer about:

which Class Order Campaigns require 抑魔金 or 萨格拉斯之血
which professions can use the and which can't
whether a character without a profession can use the - and what it is used for
whether the is BoA

My enchanter is following a quest chain that led to 魔火试炼. None of the required items are for sale on my server's auction house - and anyway I hear they start at $20K each. Trying to determine whether to complete the quest.

Edit I completed the quest at high expense. The looks cool but it's output was low. Used it twice. After a while I had gear that exceeded the crafted gear available in 7.1.

IMO should be account wide.

SUPER DUPER MACRO for those that use the SDM Addon

This will show you what quests you have done in the order they should be completed.
Yes there are other ways to condense it into normal macro space but you have to eliminate so many words, plus the sort order gets screwed up so I use SDM with one line per quest so it displays properly.

Do you happen to know if the chance goes down for items under lvl110? I've tried buying a few epic rings off the AH, lvl101 type stuff, and no bloods yet (I know RNG is RNG) but was wondering if I should keep at it. The items are under 100g so it's really not that big of an issue. I need 1x more blood for an order hall quest, seeing if I could do it sans dungeon run. Cheers on the guide!

The most frustrating thing about bloods is how difficult it is to acquire them as a new 110 char. My buddy has tons of obliterum set aside, and tons of crafted pieces, but he cant equip any of them because he cannot get any bloods - he has to farm heroics for them, so by the time he can even put on the crafted gear he's gonna out gear half of it at this rate.

Your character must be maximum level of 110. No matter how much farming, with herbing or skinning and to lesser extent mining..your not going to see bugger all until you ding max level. This is a bop only item, so you wont find it on the auction house.
Pro tip...avoid doing any professions until max level, because the stuff you craft initially in legion is pure and utter gash / crap...so dont waste your time, just mine up all you see and get it in the bank..most stuff requires bloods at max level anyway.

Everything I try to use obliterum on says, "not a valid item". I am a lvl 780 LW, and I am using it on lvl 765 and up crafted gear. I have tried with and without binding them to me first, nothing works. I have the required amounts of blood of sargeras.
