i know you're on the defensive after your little spat with bomb but in future be careful who you're calling ignorant because clearly you've been ignorant of a great deal here.
Yeah I went a little overboard. Sorry to the rest of the board for responding to the simpleton's insult.

For those who didn't know, affliction has always been perfectly viable for most fights. The truth is that destro is viable for just about every fight, which makes it "better" to some. I can agree to disagree about the rotational difference between the specs, if you want to see them as the same, then so be it.

So I don't know, I will probably try them all again after 3.3 and see what I do the most dps with / like the most.

i've tried lots of specs on the PTR (that's what i love about the PTR, all teh free respecs allows you try to crazy things just to see if they could possibly work) and will try several on live servers when 3.3 comes out (next week?)

Meh, I dropped Affliction at 70 and never really looked back. I dropped my Destro PvP spec for an Affliction PvE secondary just for kicks when I got sick of PvP. The few times I've swapped to it haven't been very enjoyable.

Its just Destruction in reverse. I find it hard to believe people derive that much more enjoyment from doing essentially the same thing with terminology exchanged.

If anything, I'm going to drop Affliction and pick up Demo. I should probably do this anyways since I'm the only raiding Warlock in my guild.

I'll stay as destro since the new spell named Soul Burn amplifies one of your most damaging abilities. Also the current "most damaging spec" is destro. Just imagine a Chaos Bolt + Soul Fire after a crit with Conflagrate...

Hmm, this thread is about 3.3 on the PTR, I'm guessing you're mistaking it for a discussion about Cataclysm.

Seriously. Just drop it, sport. You don't like someone having a different opinion than yourself and you refuse to do anything other than be insulting. I like stirring the pot between the specs, but never to the point that someone refuses to be civilized and throws "your mom" style insults around without talking about gameplay, so just agree to disagree and move on.

Sorry, but i don't recall Withambomb having a problem having a problem with anyone until you started posting, saying he gives bad advice and such. i think that you should suck it up or GTFO, as Withambomb has been helping people for quite a while on these forums.

On topic, demo will be my spec of choice come 3.3, as i never really liked the playstyle of affliction, and i need a change from destro.
