Spamming Chains of Ice and Dishing out Damage while you're doing it

I keep reading on other forums about the changes to chains of ice and how its impossible to spam chains of ice without locking you out of frost abilities.... well that's not exactly true
with this build.
With a proper rotation, you can turn one of your blood runes into a frost rune continuously, so you can keep the opponent at 0-50% speed permanently, only losing a blood and frost rune. The strength of it is that every time you chains of ice them, you are also icy touching them by applying frost fever. That means you have two unholy, a frost, and a blood rune for DPS. You'll most likely be using one of those unholy runes for constant plague strikes, for damage and for the disease effect, and your blood rune can be used for a blood strike (Two diseases on the target does mild damage). With your unholy and frost runes, you can either chains/plague if the target is spamming HoTs or removes your chains (So basically the druid killer combination), Obliterate for a damage spike, or death strike for some HP.
With the runic power you'll be generating, you can frost strike every cycle, possibly with a proc'd killing machine for a 100% crit.
Of course things could get throw off cycle (CC, Kiting), but you shouldn't have too much trouble with that because with both frost and unholy mastery, you should be able to fit in more abilities than the preset rotation and have them on lockdown, and you have death grip in case they do manage to get distance on you.
So, you'll be doing MS warrior level damage while constantly spamming a crippling poison strength snare on the target... sounds pretty good to me.

With the new changes to the talent trees, it still looks like frost/unholy will still be a great spec, especially considering spamming chains of ice will proc icy talons and improved icy talons for everyone around you, so no only will you be doing solid damage, you'll be giving yourself and your group the windfury buff, so this has even more synergy with a melee
Talent Build
Since you'll be spamming plague strike and chains of ice (Obliterate looks like a waste now because its not that much more damage for 20 less runic power, which could be saved for a Killing Machine'd Frost Strike), there's really no need to get epidemic and virulence, so you open up those talent points for more damage

yea, I just know that both the wowhead and official calcs are wrong.

Not really any big changes. A few talents were moved around, most notably in unholy. Still a lot of bugs though.

TheMediator, as much as we all want to be the first one to develop a cookie-cutter Death Knight talent tree - It's too early.
Seriously, the talent trees have been altered six times in the past month. I'm not one to discourage class study, and theorycrafting, but it's not an easy task without a spreadsheet program; or even playing the class(since you're not in beta, and our only 'friend' on these forums is a pre-kara level 65 SCRUB).
Yeah I know the talent trees are altered a lot, I even pointed that out- between my first and second post the trees were edited, but from what I've seen, they're making frost/unholy even better over time, not worse, so unless they re-do death knights again (which its possible they could), I'm going to bet that this, or a slight modification of this, will be one of the best arena builds (Frost Strike / Master of Ghouls)
And its funny that you mention spreadsheets, because PvP is less about statistics and number crunching and more about picking up as many tools as you can and then using those tools correctly, there's a reason people spec shadow step even though combat might put out more sustained damage, and that mages go ice even though AP pyro might do more spike damage
