It's a bonus they added to the Shaman totems (like this one).

It adds a nice bonus; when you get the a Totem relic, you don't have to carry around your 4 totems anymore, meaning 4 more inventory-slots for free.

You won't get 4 new inventory slots. The totems can't be destroyed. So you still have to carry them around or drop them in your bank, which still take up 4 slots then.

I welcome 4 free slots as to me i never use the bank so its 4 free for me :)
