Holy DMG, where's resistance?

Ok, I'm playing WoW for 4 months now, and love finding out ins and outs of it...
I love it how resistances work in WoW, for details see wow-europe, quite fascinating, but, why is Holy not included?
I wonder is there history behind it, please right your views and any expert knowledge :)

P.S. Also, can u post about your individual characters and the max resistance you managed to achieve on them with armor and enchants, without buffs, and how effective they were!

Hey mate, you're really struggling without wow aren't you? Not being mean at all, I've just spent the last 2 hours reading pretty much everything in these forums and the wow-europe ones!

I want my wow back!

Anyway, I've done some research on other forums about a Holy dmg and resistance. My conclusion is not based on expert info, so feel free to corect me...
The way I see it holy power does not belong to a magic school, but is more of a healing essence/power/thingy(whatever you want to refer to it)...
It is intended for healing, but can be used for DMG, though at high mana cost and low DPS...
Though you can't increase your resistance to it, it still hold a character lvl difference resistance, the bigger the difference in lvl, the more or less you can resist it...
The alternative way to protect yourself from it is my getting yourself potions which absorb holy DMG...
The last thing to remeber is that if you see item or more commonly gem which gives "+x resist all", it does NOT include Holy DMG.

Thank you guyz, just the answer I was looking for!

So the following abilities and items the way I see it should increase resistance to Holy DMG as well as the rest of schools.

Mage armor (rank4) - resist all schools + 18

Flask of Chromatic Resistance (Elixir) - resist all schools +35 and + all stats 18 (2hours continues through death)

Magic Resistance Potion - resist all schools +50 (3mins)

Any idea where can I get proffessional opinion, tried wow-europe, maybe I shud try contacting GM team, it's basix oif WoW and even pro's don't know the answer to that :D

Holy is not affected by resists.It's only affected by character level difference and in some rare cases can be resisted.But even if you had like 300 to all resistances you still would take Holy damage.
